An Open Letter: A desperate plea from the Believers in Afghanistan for prayer from the Global Body of Messiah.
The Afghan Government has been searching the homes and businesses of those who have left Islam and converted to Christianity. They have also been rounding up, arresting and publicly executing those who have left Islam and converted to Christianity. This is happening under Sharia Law which states that there must be public execution of anyone leaving Islam for another religion. This crackdown began to intensify around June 7th.
Abba is doing a mighty work in the Islamic countries and thousands of Muslims agree coming to the Lord. Abba wants that none should perish! Praise His Holy Name!
They are our brothers and sisters in the Faith now so let us diligently pray for the Believers. Also pray for the salvation of many many more.
Just yesterday I was told that they are beginning to do the very same thing to the new Believers in Iran so we must pray for them as well. Let us pray for all of the Islamic nations that a tremendous harvest come forth from them.

Persian Gulf: This past weekend eleven of our ships and one of Israel's ships passed through the Suez Canal with, believe it or not, Egyptian soldiers providing cover for them. Saudi Arabia also allowed Israel to enter their airspace and land at their airport to unload their cargo planes. Turkey, incidentally, would not allow them to fly through their airspace.
Anyway, at the present time we have Iran surrounded and Israel has given Iran an ultimatum, "Bomb or Survival!" The choice is now theirs to make.
I might add that once our ships all headed toward the canal, Iran pulled back all of their armed men who were to escort the next flotilla to try to break Israel's blockade of Gaza. This tells me that they must be feeling a bit uneasy, so we all need to pray.
Let me remind you all that this is happening during the three week period of time when all the horrible, destructive things happened to Israel in past years. These three weeks Israelis fast and pray a lot up to and including the Ninth of Av. If you are in the land during this time you will notice that a terrible spirit of mourning falls all across the Land. Bless their hearts, they do need our prayer cover as well.
Let us all be praying for our ships and military, Israel's ships, planes and military, as well as their homeland and ours, especially throughout these three weeks. Cover especially Florida, New York, Arizona and California for these cities have very large Jewish communities and they are all vulnerable at this time. Please cover all of our military bases as well. Also pray for the Jewish communities in both France and Germany for so much has been happening to Jews in these two cities the past couple of weeks. Pray that they will all see the need to make Aliyah to Israel.. It is time!
Also pray that both the Israeli and American leadership in this maneuver have the wisdom and discernment of Almighty God. Abba, we pray for your mercy!

Political leaders in both parties are actively involved in allowing an unhindered flow of illegal aliens across our Southern borders because they are planning another blanket amnesty in hopes of garnering additional votes. “Under the Bush presidency, the idea of the North American Union was actively pushed, which would erase our northern border with Canada and our southern border with Mexico. “Under the Obama presidency illegal immigration is further expanded by working for a blanket amnesty which would garner many more votes for the Democratic Party. He has cancelled the border fence that was established by law, threatened Arizona with legal action over their stand against illegal immigration, and has given three counties in Arizona over to the illegal immigrant drug cartel, erecting signs warning American citizens to stay out of Arizona Federal Park lands that cover those three counties. “Arizona is trying to fight back against the invasion of illegal immigrants that is producing death, skyrocketing crime and destroying property of the citizens, not to mention the ever increasing tax burdens that have been heaped upon the state and her citizens. “The Political and Educational establishments of Tucson are even in rebellion, allowing classes that teach the children that Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and California were stolen from Mexico and should be given back. Arizona passed a law that outlawed such teaching but officials in Tucson refuse to honor it believing that they have the support of the Obama administration. Meanwhile, a steady stream of illegal's continue to enter our country. The problem also includes Islamic terrorists who are also coming across those borders. “As Isaiah prophesied thousands of years ago, “Truth has fallen in the streets” (Isaiah 59:14). Most of the mainstream media does not want to tell this story and the dangers involved. The One World crowd is willing to throw away our sovereignty for the sake of profit and power. We need to inform ourselves, pray and act to correct the problem of illegal immigration.” “This is not a racial reaction, but it is a law-abiding reaction!” Note: Arizona is being dealt with the very same was that this administration is dealing with Israel. America will be made to drink from the very same cup that our government has been forcing upon Israel. Abba has made that quite clear! So let us pray for Israel and her land and security problems as we pray for Arizona and her land and security problems As we pray, let it be with repentant hearts for the way this administration is treating both Arizona and Israel. Pray much for the Governor of Arizona and the Prime Minister of Israel. Both of them are having to withstand a lot of unmerciful harassment and pressure! Praise Report and Prayer Alert: 5/30/10
Praise Report: Let us thank God for the warm reception that PM Bibi Netanyahu received in Canada today. Bibi was welcomed to Canada to walk with all of Israel's supporters in their annual Walk for Israel in Toronto.
Bibi's participation in the Walk for Israel so blessed all of the Jewish community in Canada that they took out full page ads in all of their national newspapers thanking PM Stephen Harper for his support of Israel. They expressed their appreciation for the warm relationship their government has with Israel.
The ads also called upon Bibi to keep Jerusalem the undivided eternal capital of the Jewish State. Bibi was blessed and expressed his gratitude to the Canadian officials for their steadfast support of Israel.
Prayer Alert: As the Obama Administration is in the process of damage control, PM Netanyahu has been invited back to the White House this Tuesday. It has been said that he will be treated properly this time around. He will be treated as any ally and head of state should be treated. At the same time though He must be on his guard. He must be well covered in prayer so that he will continue to stand firm and not yield to the seducing spirits that are behaving in a more subtle way now as the administration attempts to do damage control. Keep in mind that all they are doing, (changing their tactics) is with the coming elections in mind. They know they are in trouble.
Let us pray that Abba will strengthen Bibi, give him a backbone of steel and a heavy anointing to go in to this meeting at the White House. Pressure will come against him from all sides and we must pray that Abba give him the strength to push back. And may all of the spin and lies against Israel be exposed for what they truly are. Last but surely not least, may every one who stands with Israel here in the US be in prayer for him throughout his visit here in the US. He is carrying a word for America and may he be free to deliver it.

Israel: A nine ship flotilla with over 700 people on board is headed for Gaza for the purposes of breaking the Israeli / Egyptian siege on the Hamas controlled Gaza Strip. Although they claim to be bringing humanitarian aid to the Gaza, their sole purpose is to use this event to further demonize and delegitimize Israel before all the other nations. In truth these are anti-Israel activists on board. They are being led by Bolt Yaldrim, who is head of the Turkish Branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. Also on board is Sheikh Raed Salah, leader of the northern branch of the Islamic Movement and also head of the Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan.
Israel has readied its Naval Fleet to apprehend the ships at or at about 20 miles from the shore and then take them on to the Port of Ashdod where the "humanitarian aid" will be checked for weapons, contraband etc. If it is all clear it will be then taken to Gaza, however the activists aboard the ships will be processed for deportation. If they leave peacefully their return will be "gratis" however if they cause problems, they will be jailed and then processed.
Earnest prayer is needed immediately and as the events are unfolding. The arrival of this flotilla is but hours away. Those leading this flotilla have declared that they will continue to do this until such time as Israel breaks. Keep in mind as you pray that the purpose of the siege that was put upon Hamas was to bring them to the place where they would recognize Israel's right to exist and stop all terror.
Suggested Psalms to pray as you pray in to this situation are: Psalm: 9:7-10, Psalm 9: 11-14, Psalm 9: 15-16, and Psalm 9:18-20. Please, as you pray for Israel, pray also for the nations.

ISRAEL: Sunday, May 23rd, approximately 20,000 Jews and non-Jews turned out enmasse to march down Fifth Avenue in New York City for their annual Salute to Israel Day. There were many celebrities, elected officials and foreign dignitaries among them. There were also numerous anti-Israel protestors there, but the massive turnout in support of Israel caused them to quickly disappear. The New York Police Department were extremely helpful as well, making sure that the peaceful celebration remained that way. The day ended with a concert in the park, everyone rejoicing for rain had been predicted, but instead the Almighty gave them a beautiful day. Everyone realized His favor upon the gathering and the day's festivities as they gathered to stand with Israel for a united Jerusalem and no more concessions or land for peace.
All the while in Israel, a five day drill for the IDF, Police, Emergency Squads and the general population of all Israel was taking place in preparation for a very possible chemical attack on Israel, as well as a barrage of rocket and missile attacks. All of the Israelis have been equipped with gas masks and have been told to make preparations in their homes. Also to locate the nearest bomb shelter so that when the sirens sound they can quickly take cover. Every report we are receiving tell us that there is a 'knowing' among the general population that war is coming. All of them asking for our prayers.
The past two weeks Hezbollah has sent about 200 ballistic missiles, some with chemical warheads on them, in to the Tel Aviv area. So, technically war has already begun.
Let us pray for godly wisdom and discernment to be upon all those in leadership from the top down. Let us pray that the Israelis will all look up and ask the Almighty for help. Pray that they all stand strong against the face of their enemies. And may the Jewish believers in the Land remain strong and seize every opportunity to be a witness for Yeshua or even lead others to Him. Blessings to you as you pray for them.

U.S. Naval Warships: Our government is sending four more of our warships to join the USS Truman and its Strike Group. They are the guided missile cruiser USS Normandy and guided missile destroyers USS Winston Churchill, USS Oscar Austin and USS Ross.
There are 6,000 of our Marines and Sailors aboard the Truman Strike Group alone. The total number of our military aboard all the ships is not known at this time, but we do know that they have just gone through four months of extensive training for missions in the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean.
We also know that the dear Lord has been warning us that all ships must have His covering while at sea. So, PLEASE keep all of our ships at sea and all of our military at sea well covered in prayer. I don't have to remind anyone that threats against them abound at this time.

ISRAEL: It has just been revealed by an American General that a Russian submarine bearing an Iranian flag docked in Beirut this past week. The crew were all wearing gas masks and the sub was laden with chemical weapons for Hezbollah in Lebanon. There are 50,000 to 60, 000 rockets and missiles that have come in to Lebanon from Syria that they know of as well as scuds.
The rockets and missiles have been planted in houses, buildings and orchards. A large tunnel system is set in place in South Lebanon, which goes under the fence and will take suicide bombers very quickly into northern Israel.
Lebanon has been locked down for the past 10 days. Passports, internet service etc. All those who have been associated with the Jews are being rounded up, imprisoned and some assassinated. There have been many assassinations already. The Jews and Christians in Northern Lebanon are also in danger.
The intelligence that Israel has tells them that Lebanon will stand with Hezbollah against Israel as will Hamas. They are planning to hit them from both the Gaza and the West Bank as well as from the Lebanon border. All the while the IAF has got to keep their eye on Iran.
The General did say that Israel is well prepared. They are ready for either a pre-emptive strike or defensive action. He said that they will not make the same mistakes they made in the last war with Hezbollah.
The General believes that this is going to be the tipping point in the Middle East. They are not sure if America will be with Israel or not. They have no faith or trust in Obama. Let us all pray in to this as the Holy Spirit leads. He is the only one who knows where the first strike will come from and whether the U.S. will be with Israel or not. I believe with all my heart that God will be with His people. Shalom and blessings to you as you pray and prophesy the promises of God over Israel, her people and her army.

Washington, D.C.: Katherine Woods has sent us a reminder of all that will be taking place in Washington, D.C. over the next few days. If you are able to join those who will be praying on location, please do. If not, please pray for all of these warriors and their missions. They are so faithful on the wall and at the gates.
May 1st from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM Christians will gather at the Lincoln Memorial to pray over our land and reclaim it for the Almighty. (II Chronicles 7:14) They will be praying in the same place where all of the Muslims gathered and prayed to a false God. May that curse be broken in Yeshua's Name.
May 4th Christians will gather, wearing white, at the Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. to stand for traditional marriage and the right of the residents of Washington, D.C. to be able to vote on the issue of same sex marriage. They say that the fight is not over and they will take the fight to the Supreme Court if necessary.
May 6th is the traditional National Day of Prayer and they will gather on the steps of the Capitol Building and on the west lawn of the Capitol; Building to pray for our nation. Please come and join them if at all possible.
Note: All of these events are designed to give the people of the United States an opportunity to gather together for the purpose of repentance, both personally and nationally, and to pray for the America we all hold dear to our hearts.
In the event that you cannot participate in Washington, D.C., please take the time at home to truly repent of your sins, known and unknown, and recommit your lives wholeheartedly to Almighty God. Ask Him to forgive you personally for any way that you might have strayed from Him and certainly for our nation for having turned our back on Him, tramping on His heart, tramping on His Cross and the blessing that it has brought to us all, even rejecting His Word and Commandments. Cry out for forgiveness and mercy!

Israeli / American Issue: I have watched several former U.S. administrations squeeze, pressure and literally abuse Israeli leaders before, but I have never seen anything like what is happening at this time.
The Obama administration is first of all bound and determined to de-seat Bibi Netanyahu and those closest to him, and second of all take control of the City of Jerusalem, the Capitol of Israel, that they simply cannot restrain themselves. They remind me of a herd of vicious attack dogs out for the kill.
Now they are also focusing on Mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat who came in to Washington this week with a stern message for this administration, telling them that when they are demanding a settlement freeze in any part of Jerusalem they are acting illegally. The Mayor is taking his criticisms straight to Congress, where many on both sides of the aisle are critical of this administrations tactics directed toward Israel.
Mayor Barkat said that they would not think of telling certain religions and races to stop building in their capitol and they should not do so to Israel either, for Israel is a sovereign nation. Stephen Miller, the Mayor's spokesman said, " Asking for a freeze in building is illegal in America and it is illegal in Israel as well. He went on to say that Jerusalem will continue to expand and grow for the benefit of all citizens equally."
Obama's reaction to all that Mayor Barkat had to say was frustration and anger. He was especially upset that Mayor Barkat's interviews were aired on American media, especially now when he is in damage control. As he begins campaigning to try to hold on to seats that are up for re-election this year, I pray that people are not swayed by his pretentions and deceiving words and ways. He will do or say anything to maintain control.
Ehud Barak, the Israeli Defense Minister, who undermines Bibi and his coalition at every turn, has been ordered by Obama to reign in the Mayor of Jerusalem and halt his 'unproductive behavior'. Some within the American media referred to Mayor Barkat as a possible future prime minister of Israel and that really upset Obama.
Off the record it is interesting to note the arrival of Ehud Barak in Washington, with all the honor and fanfare, when the Prime Minister had to go and come by the side door. It is so obvious to see who is working for the good of Israel and her peoiple. Those who are working for the good of Israel and her people are being maligned every step of the way. Obviously it is going to take a lot worse than killer hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, floods and volcanic eruptions to cause this administration to realize that our God reigns! The last words will be His! He, alone, is King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Please, let us pray for PM Bibi Netanyahu, Foreign Minister Lieberman, and the Mayor Of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat. Let us lift up their hands as they stand to protect Jerusalem and her people at this crucial time. Let us also pray that Abba will reign in Ehud Barak and Shimon Peres to stop them from undermining the Netanyahu administration. Last but not least pray that Abba will take hold of Obama and bring him to his knees at His feet.
Pray that this nation will repent! There is a turning taking place politically but not as much spiritually, which is the most important.
Repentance will bring refreshment which will bring restoration and then revival. Lord, have mercy!

Prayer Alert 4/13/10 ISRAEL / AMERICA: The President of the United States continues to move our Nation full speed ahead in to a direct conflict with Almighty God! It is not enough that he has demanded the sovereign State of Israel to stop building new homes, adding on to existing homes and making g home renovations for their people, now he is stepping up the monitoring of all Jewish construction
Our Middle East envoy, George Mitchell has just overseen the establishment of an enhanced apparatus that is based in the U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem to closely monitor all activity in Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem neighborhoods. They do not hide their activities either. They continually tour these neighborhoods, talking to as many people as they can to gather as much information as they can concerning the things that might be going on in their neighborhoods
Also our first Muslim Congressman from Minnesota, Keith Ellison and some of his friends were busy down in Gaza spying out the Land and then twittering all the information they could gather back to the United States. In short, they have taken this intimidation and harassment to a whole new level. It is shameful!
Just recently Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu pulled out of a trip that was planned to Washington, DC for a nuclear security summit hosted by Obama because Israel learned that a number of the 47 nations in attendance were setting an ambush for him. Thank God for His intervention.
On top of that, the White House has now forbidden visas to be given to any of Israel's Nuclear Research Center Scientists who periodically come to the U.S. to continue their education on nuclear technology. They have been studying in our universities for some twenty years, but as soon as Obama took up residence in the White House that came to an end. Not only that but the U.S,. will no longer sell anything nuclear related to Israel for their reactor in Dimmona. They must purchase all parts from France.
And, the U.S. has approved more than $10 billion dollars worth of arms sales to the Arab League States that surround Israel. Arms that will in a short period of time be turned upon Israel. Not only that, but our military officers both equipped and trained quite a large army that sits on Israel's border. We have also recently armed Lebanon.
The shipment to Lebanon included 1,000 MI6A4 rifles, 10 missile launchers, 1,383 grenade launchers, and 538 sets of day/night binoculars and night vision devices. The equipment is to be supported with training provided by the U.S..
Now Obama is seriously considering imposing a Palestinian State on land that God has made Israel stewards of regardless of what Israel says or does. He plans to do this in the Fall. Just recently he made ten demands of Israel, which to date Israel has ignored and rightfully so, for they are all in direct conflict with the will and plans of Almighty God.
I share all of this with you to point out to you that Obama is strong-arming Israel something fierce. To the Israelis he tells them he stands with them, and he says the same things to the thousands upon thousands of Israeli supporters here in the U.S. But pay no attention to what comes out of his mouth. Pay attention to all that he is doing to them and know that our nation will pay a horrible price for what is being done to His people on His Land unless the dear Lord steps in to put a stop to his evil deeds. How I pray that this be the case. If not I can only continue to cry out as Habakkuk did, "In wrath please remember mercy, oh God!"
Please pray for Israel, her leadership and her people. Pray also for this country. Obama is heaping one curse upon another on this country. As a nation we are in dire straits right now.

North Korea: World Watch is calling for 50,000 believers to stand with 50,000 believers living in the most persecuted country in the world, North Korea.
There is no other place in the world that is so isolated, so spiritually dark and systematically inhumane as North Korea. Several million have died as a result of imprisonment and food shortages caused by the government's isolation policy, which led to the collapse of the food distribution system and poor harvests.
North Korean Christians are singled out for their loyalty to Christ instead of their dictator Kim Jong Il. Though many have remained strong in their faith, they struggle against despair. Some have the strength to pray for the salvation of their leader and simply desire to worship the Lord freely.
Moved by their courage, it is time for us to use our freedom on behalf of these believers living in utter isolation. Please keep these dear ones in prayer.
Israel: This past Shabbat in Be'er Sheva, Israel, the anti-missionaries, quite a large group of them, burst in to a Messianic Congregation attacking the congregants and destroying anything they could get their hands on. Police finally came to restrain them, but that is all they did.. The same man who had planted the bomb that almost took Ami's life was right in the midst of them. And this should not be!
The Pastor of that congregation said, "Enough is enough!" He is demanding that something be done so the Jewish believers can worship Yeshua without being invaded or attacked. The persecution of Jewish believers in Israel has been terrible and appears to be worsening. Please pray for the believers that Abba protect and strengthen them and that justice be done.

Israel: Christine writes from Jerusalem, "Today was a very stressful one for Jerusalem residents. There was a lot of unrest in the eastern part of the city, and from where we live in French Hill, it was terrible.
"All day long we had helicopters flying low over the East Jerusalem neighborhoods with ambulances and police sirens blaring all day long. There have been numerous calls by the Hamas leadership in Damascus to Palestinians in Israel to begin a new intifada and participate in today's day of rage.
"I usually take an afternoon nap, but today it was impossible to do so. The sound of shooting and loud speakers, together with smoke screens being used to bring in more security, just made it too much. It was a reminder of the terrible years we have already suffered and I hope and pray that this new resurgence will be quickly put down before it spreads.
"I watched BBC News and Sky Angel all day and all they did was show the same footage of a small area behind the Mt. of Olives. They did not show the bus windows being smashed and the molotov cocktails being thrown against car windows of innocent drivers. In fact, the rioters actually smashed the windshield of an Arab Knesset member without realizing what they were doing. Please join us in praying that quiet will be restored."

Israel: Early this morning, Palestinians emerged from hiding within the city of Jerusalem to begin attacking Israel from within. The last I heard there were forty-nine wounded and thirty some detained. All of the violence began close to Ramat Shlomo, where Israel is beginning to construct 1600 homes for Jews in a neighborhood that has been well established as a Jewish neighborhood for decades.
Firebombs were set off targeting Jewish homes during the night and then the rioting began early on this morning. Israeli Police used stun guns to disperse some of the rioters. They were also able to stop two busloads of Israeli Arabs from reaching the city for their intentions were to join the fray. They were answering the call of a Palestinian Authority Minister who called on all local Muslims to converge on Jerusalem to defend the Al AAqsa Mosque from the Jews.
Apparently the enemies of Israel were also upset because Israel had just rededicated an ancient synagogue in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City.. A former Palestinian Authority official said that the rededication of their synagogue and the announcement that they are building 1600 new Jewish homes were only the latest provocations that was resulting in a new Palestinian Arab terrorist uprising.
Mitchell, Obama's special envoy to Israel cancelled his trip back to Israel when the rioting began. VP Biden just left Israel after causing nothing but trouble and after he left the Land, Hillary Clinton called Bibi and personally scolded him for beginning to construct the new homes for his people. After this everything began to go down hill.
Israelis, American supporters of Israel's right to build on her own land, and several Republican Congressmen are upse with Obama because of his hostile response to Israel building 1600 new homes for her people. They lashed out at him calling his behavior irresponsible. Eric Cantor accused Obama of bei9ng so ready to stab America's friends and allies in the back while trying to make points with her enemies as he ignores all of their illegal activity and building on Jewish land.
Bibi Netanyahu fired back at Obama over his harsh criticism of Israel for building new homes for their people in a Jewish neighborhood. He told Obama point blank that they will never stop building in their own capitol, in fact he said that they will build everywhere just as they have for the last 42 years. Thank God both the Likud Party and his entire cabinet, plus some from the Labor Party were behind him. They have all been shocked by the behavior of the American administration. Bibi also said that when the time set for the freeze is ended it will not be extended.
According to the American media, Obama is behind all of the hostilities that are being directed against Israel and they say he will contnue to be until Bibi changes his mind and stops all construction for Jews in the city of Jerusalem.
Let us all continue to pray that Bibi will remain strong, and that his cabinet and administration as a whole will continue to support his decision to stand for a united Jerusalem.

Israel: May I ask you to please continue to pray for Bibi Netanyahu and those in his administration who are trying desperately to stand strong against the barrage of pressure, intimidation, threats, manipulation and just plain witchcraft that is being unleashed upon them big time. There is so much coming against them at this point in time, that it is a wonder to me that they can even breathe.
All of the big guns in the UN, Arab world, the EU and especially the USA have been there on a daily basis hammering away at them. As if that is not enough, their own Defense Minister, Ehud Barak is still undermining them at every turn. Just yesterday he went before the Knesset asking for funds to enforce the freeze on building homes for Jews in Judea and Samaria, while ignoring the illegal construction by Arabs taking place in Judea and Samaria. Thank God that the Knesset denied him the funds.
Just yesterday VP Biden, who professes to embrace Israel, harshly condemned Israel for having approved the building of 1600 new homes in Northeastern Jerusalem in a heavily populated Jewish community there. The community is Ramat Shlomo, where tens of thousands orthodox Jews already reside. It is also one of the neighborhoods that the Palestinians are demanding as part of their land for peace deal. Never mind that all of Jerusalem is Israel's capitol, and they are a sovereign nation to boot.
Israel has warned the USA that their backing of the Arabic demands are emboldening the Palestinians to refuse to compromise in any way shape or form, making peace with Israel an impossibility.
The Palestinians are refusing to meet with Israel for peace negotiations now until Israel changes direction, by cancelling out the building of those 1600 homes in Ramat Shlomo. However, Jewish lawmakers made an announcement saying that construction of Jewish homes in Jerusalem will never again be stopped.
Yuli Edelstein, Minister of Diaspora Affairs said, "People who feel that we embarrassed VP Biden by our announcement to build the 1600 new homes do not understand our rights to Jerusalem. He went on to say, "If someone thinks that in the framework of peace talks we will agree to split Jerusalem, he is mistaken." Please continue to pray for those who are standing strong, that they not cave from the pressures.

Israel: Those of you who have been so faithfully praying for abundant rains to fall over Israel can rejoice with the Israelis. Over this past weekend the heavens opened and drenched all of Israel, The Sea of Galilee, their main source of water supply, rose more than 10 centimeters above the red line. So far more rain has fallen than their annual average rainfall.
Please continue to pray for much, much more is still needed to bring the Sea of Galilee up to where it needs to be and to fill the underground aquifers and aqueducts.
Urgent: Today begins the sixth annual International Israeli Apartheid Week, with all of its week long festivities taking place over the next 14 days in 40 cities across the globe. Organizers say that these days are meant to educate people about the nature of Israel as an apartheid system and to build Boycott, Divestment and Sanction campaigns as part of their global movement.
Also they say the week long festivities will push for an end to the colonization of all Arab lands, to bring full equality to Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, dismantling of the Gaza security defenses and the right of return for all Palestinian refugees.
Please pray, for although this event lasts only two weeks, the impression it leaves on many people, especially the young people will last a whole lot longer, perhaps a life time. This is an evil that is so distorted and spreads so much hatred for Israel across all College Campuses worldwide. Pray for all Jewish students to be protected! Pray for young minds to be sober and enlightened by truth, not by deceit and hatred.

Today they first said that they will ram rod it through to passage this Thursday, but now they are saying at any time. The only thing I can tell you for sure is that they are determined to see passage this week regardless of how the American people feel about it.
Let us all come together and pray this very special prayer over healthcare legislation offered by a sister in Pensacola, Florida.
Abba Father, in Jesus' most precious and holy Name, we humbly ask that You step in and intervene at this most crucial juncture in our nation's history. Abba, it was You who gave our Founding Fathers the wisdom and guidance to assert that our nation would be one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all. Our nation's founding documents state that it is from You that we receive the inalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness NOT our federal government.
Abba, please stop this healthcare legislation dead in its tracks. Please frustrate the plotting of the shrewd who seek to alter our nation in to a socialist democracy so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise or attain success. (Job 5:12-13) Expose to the light of day the plans of the crafty. Allow confusion and chaos to reign in their meetings this weekend and into next week so that no path to reconciliation may be achieved. Please allow division and rivalry to thwart the plans of those who seek to override the will of the citizens of the United States so that this entire endeavor falls in utter futility. Please awaken our citizenry to what is at stake.
Abba, we also humbly ask that You will bring good out of this terrible situation. Please graciously use this whole experience to draw people to Yourself. In Jesus' Name we pray for revival to spread across our land and to heal our nation so that we once again seek our liberty from You and not from a government of man.

Obama and his team are planning to use Executive Orders and Directives to advance their agenda because much of their legislative agenda is stalled in Congress. Rahm Emanuel said they want to get the job done across a "front of issues."
Obama and his staff are determined to impose their agenda on the American people whether they like it or not. The only recourse we have is to work on the federal lawmakers, who, fearful of losing their seats in Congress, will stand against Obama. Contact your representatives and pray!
"A front of issues" is an interesting phrase which suggests a line of battle. Pray against any Executive Orders or Directives that are detrimental to our nation, and pray for holy confusion to invade the battle line.

ISRAEL: I have heard from three Messianic Jews in Israel today and received other correspondence as well, asking us to please pray concerning a court case in Israel tomorrow. A case of great importance!
Ten Jewish families have been denied citizenship in Israel because they believe in Yeshua as their Messiah. A court case was heard two years ago that found the actions of the Ministry of Interior to be illegal, and they were instructed by the Israeli Supreme Court to award citizenship to these Jewish believers in Yeshua according to Israeli Law.
Two years later the Ministry of Interior still has not complied with the ruling of the Israeli Supreme Court. Notice after notice was sent from the Court to the Ministry of Interior, all of which have been totally ignored. Therefore, tomorrow the Ministry of Interior is being called to account for their actions. They have been summoned to appear before the Israeli Supreme Court on the basis of a contempt of court order that has been submitted on behalf of the families seeking their rightful citizenship.
Please begin praying urgently that Justice will be done. Please pray for the lawyers handling the cases on both sides. Also pray for the judges that will hear this case tomorrow and that God's perfect will be done in this matter.
This case will be heard at 11:00 AM Israeli time. Remember that they are seven hours ahead of us. Begin to pray now, please! Such nonsense has gone on long enough!

ISRAEL: Yesterday 'two' barrels packed with explosives washed up on to the beaches in Israel. One in Ashdod and one in Ashkelon. Police and bomb disposal experts were able to close the beaches, neutralize and dispose of both barrels without injury to anyone.
Islamic Jihad, the Fatah Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade and the Nasser Salah al-din Brigades issued a leaflet in Gaza claiming responsibility for sending 'three' explosive devices in to Ashdod and Ashkelon When asked about the third barrel, Israeli authorities refused to comment.
The Lord keeps telling me that we must be alert, watchful and prayerful because our enemies have been developing many new strategies and tactics to take all of His people off guard, both in America and in Israel. If ever we needed to stay tuned in to Abba, it is now! If ever we needed sharper discernment, it is now. Let us all spend as much quiet time with Him as we possibly can that He might be able to fill us in on the changes and the things to be watchful of. If we will just get quiet and draw close to Him, He will surely draw close to us, that is His promise.
AMERICA: Thieves are swiping semis and tractor trailers filled with goods, triggering a real spike in cargo theft on our nation's highways. Over a five day period of time last month, an 18 wheeler carrying 710 cartons of consumer electronics was stolen from a Pennsylvania rest stop, a fifty-three foot long rig packed with 43,000 pounds of paper was stolen in Ottawa, Illinois and a 40 foot-long truck filled with reclining arm chairs went missing in Atlanta, Georgia.
Truckloads containing $487 million dollars worth of goods were stolen in the US in 2009, a 67% increase over the 290 million dollars worth of products stolen in 2008. Thieves stole 859 truckloads in 2009, up from 767 truckloads in 2008 and 672 in 2007 according to Freight Watch International. In the last two months there has been such an increase in these thefts that it is to the point that criminals are just plain "wreaking havoc". A Detective-Sergeant with the New Jersey State Police said, "They will rip off just about anything!" New Jersey has been heavily hit with cargo theft in the past two years.
Let us pray that the Lord will show the proper authorities where the source of the problem lies so that the source of these operations can be dealt with and a stop put to all of this theft before people end up badly hurt or even loose their lives. Just one more warning to always be alert concerning your surroundings, where ever you may be, and know those you are working or networking with.

ISRAEL: The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem is reporting that Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi opened a three day visit to Israel today by meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and declaring that he is interested in the possibility of Israel joining the European Union. At a welcoming reception at the Prime Minister's office, Berlusconi reiterated comments previously made to Netanyahu that his biggest dream is to see Israel join the EU. Berlusconi added that the international community has been insensitive to Israel's concerns over growing threats to its existence. The embattled Italian Premier also brought along eight cabinet ministers for a series of meetings with their counterparts to develop closer bilateral relations.
Netanyahu responded by saying that the past cultures of Rome and Jerusalem contributed greatly to western advancement, giving Israel and Italy a common basis for closer co-operation today. Tomorrow Berlusconi is expected to affirm in a Kinessett address that Israel is the state of the Jewish people. He is also planning to meet with Palestinian Authority's Mahmoud Abbas and convey back to Netanyahu his willingness to renew negotiations if Israel is willing to halt Jewish construction in East Jerusalem for a period of at least three months.
Please pray in to this situation that Yahweh intervene and not let Prime Minister Netanyahu be foiled in to any type of agreement with any of the EU.

Match for Life 2010: So many of you have written to ask about the meetings in Washington, DC and the March for Life that I thought it would be easier to answer you all this way and thank you all for your prayers. It was a cold, overcast day in a very oppressive city, but Abba was with us in a big way!
First of all the meetings concerning abortion and euthanasia in this country went very well. The prayer sessions were very good. Then came the March for Life! The turn out was very good. As I looked out over a sea of people I couldn't help recall the 1960's when a few of us were trying so hard to warn people as to what would happen if abortion on demand became the law of the land. Very few would listen or even give us the time of day. Well, the tide has changed, thank God! I understand that 6 out of every ten young adults are now Pro-Life and that is very good news.
All of our Pro-Life elected officials were there to thank us for coming and encourage us to keep on keeping on. They thanked us for the support we gave each of them as they stand for life in a very difficult place surrounded by darkness. Several of them spoke directly to Barak Obama and rightfully so. Then came the clergy, who also shared their heart concerning both abortion and euthanasia.
Following the clergy three Rabbis were introduced and they came on like gang busters, men on a mission, if you will. As soon as their feet hit the platform the spokesman for the three shouted out, "Shalom Pro-Life America! Then he right away began to remind everyone of Pharaoh issuing a directive to kill all of the Hebrew baby boys and how Yahweh intervened through the midwives to save the babies. Then, he stretched out his arm and pointed in the direction of the White House shouting to President Obama, by name, "Don't you dare! Don't you dare! Don't you dare!." Then he shouted "Let our babies go!" No sooner were those words out of his mouth and they whipped out a rams horn each and sounded the alarm. A powerful warning. It was awesome! The anointing of the Lord was all over that platform.
I praised God for the Lord has been telling me that we must sound the alarm when He tells us to and then He will move to bring the justice and judgment needed. He does watch over His Word to perform it. Praise His Name! Bless the dear Rabbis who had the courage, boldness, courage and anointing to sound the alarm and they were obedient! For me that was the highlight of the March for Life activities.

But, there is a voice rising out of Houston and out of Texas, declaring, “We don’t want this death camp specializing in late-term abortions in our neighborhoods!” On Martin Luther King Jr.’s holiday, January 18th, 2010, thousands are gathering to march against this Goliath to pray, fast, and peacefully siege this massive injustice in the spirit of that great liberator Martin Luther King Jr. Key African American, Latino, and political leaders are coming to speak and hold a nationwide press conference challenging this “super center.” This is a great hour for the Hispanic pro-LIFE people, Catholic and Evangelical, to raise their voices against abortion and for adoption. ISRAEL: Earlier today a bomb went off near a convoy of cars from the Israeli Embassy in Jordon. Thank God that no one was hurt in the attack. There has been no claim of responsibility.
The attack took place on a road through farmland between Israel and Jordon, just 10 miles from the Allenby Bridge over the Jordan River, and about halfway between the Jordanian capital Aman and the border.
One or two bombs were reported to have exploded as the convoy passed but the timing of the remote controlled device was off so the vehicle was not seriously damaged.
Israel and Jordon signed a peace treaty in 1994 and there has been close security co-operation between the two countries. However the past few years there has been somewhat of a cooling because the Palestinian /Israeli conflict has not been resolved.
You see, a goodly portion of Jordon is made up of Palestinians, therefore Jordon very much wants to see a Palestinian State created on Israeli land because they do not want anymore of the Palestinians in Jordon, in fact, they have been expelling some of them. They want Israel to have to take them in.
At any rate, after the explosion the Israeli convoy entered a military base in Jordon and allowed the soldiers time to close off and search out the area. They found that the bombs went off on the side of the road leading to the Jordan Valley. Two security officials from Jordon said that the attack was aimed at Israel's ambassador to Jordon, but he was not in the car. Let us give thanks once again for Abba's protection over the Israeli convoy. He who watches over Israel never slumbers nor sleeps! Praise His Holy Name!
Let us pray also that Israel will continue to stand strong against all the arm bending, manipulation and threats coming from our current administration. Their tactics are ruthless. Never ending! Think about all of the word curses that are being spoken constantly from every direction against Bibi, his administration and the land of Israel itself, not to mention the oppressing Islamic spirit that surrounds them on all sides. It is little wonder that the sifting of the nations has begun.

About a week ago, while reading Scripture, two of the Chief Rabbis in Israel fell under conviction and made a public statement saying that the redemption of the Israelis is being held up because of abortion. They have called for a fast and for all Rabbis to teach on this issue this Shabbat, when the Torah portion is on the story of Pharoah calling for the death of all the Hebrew baby boys and Abba's intervention through two godly midwives.
In Israel abortion is legal, and the abortion rate is high, although it is down a bit in comparison to what it has been for a number of years. Let us pray that the Rabbis be given a heavy anointing as they share, and also that the Israelis will have ears to hear and repent. We need to be praying that the religious members of Knesset will move now to overturn the legalization of abortion in the Nation of Israel as well. Last but surely not least, may all the mothers, fathers, doctors and nurses who have at any time been involved in abortion hear the word, repent and cry out to Yahweh for forgiveness. Through it all may they all come to know Yeshua, the only One who can forgive their sins and bring about complete healing and restoration.
Please continue to pray for rain and snow in Israel, especially in the center of the country and along the coast. God bless you as you pray for these needs.

Iran is still the focus of discussion and concern to the Israeli Government. Iran continues to defy the United Nations call to halt their race to develop nuclear weapons. Iran's leaders continue to call for the destruction of Israel and are one of the leading countries in the Middle East financing state sponsored terrorism. Israeli leaders do not believe diplomatic efforts and sanctions alone will cause Iran to divert its plan to acquire nuclear weapons. Prayer is crucial as tensions over Iran are rising.
Gilad Shalit is still in captivity in Gaza and Hamas is yet to agree to Israel's terms in regard to the number of prisoners they are willing to release. A Hamas spokesman came out bluntly refusing the latest Israeli offer, but they later back-tracked because they had offended the German mediator. They now say they will give their answer in a few days. Gilad has been in captivity for 1,290 days. Much prayer is needed for Gilad, his family, Israeli negotiators, and the Government leaders.
Egypt has begun to lay huge walls of steel and metal along the border of Gaza to try to halt the digging of tunnels. The Hamas authorities are furious with the Egyptians and have called for the other Arab nations to come forward to protest this "act of war" against smuggling. Recently an Egyptian newspaper (Al-Ashram) reported that it is believed that some 1200 tunnels now exist between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. Armed militants operate and pay for them to be dug and used to smuggle weapons, building supplies, fuel, food, animals and explosive experts from other Middle Eastern nations. Please pray for the protection of the Egyptian workers who are attempting to build the steel wall, as they have been fired upon many times by Hamas and other terror groups.
The Egyptian Border has been the most difficult border for Israeli soldiers to patrol over the past year. There has been a sharp drop in attempted infiltrations of terror groups across the border, but that is only due to the success of the Israeli patrols. The Israeli spokesman for the Security Services said dozens of attempts by terror groups to cross into Israel and carry out attacks were prevented in 2009. Please pray for the Southern Border as it is known that terror groups affiliated with Al-Qaida are plotting to try to cross the border to carry out attacks deep in the heart of Israel.
Water is still a major concern in Israel. Good rains have fallen in the North of Israel, helping to raise the level of the Sea of Galilee. But the ground water in Israel and the mountain and coastal aquifers are severely depleted. Israel needs rains to fall in the center and Coastal areas. Desalination plants along the Mediterranean Coast are being built but Israel will still need two very rainy winters to replenish its underground water supplies. Please pray for rain to fall in abundance all over the country over the next 4 to 5 months.
Visa Renewal has become a major problem for Christian workers in the Land as well as Christian students. The Ministry of Interior is now run by Shas, the Religious Party, and they have instituted a policy of visa denial to Christians. This is partly due to the rising numbers of non-Jewish refugees protected by the UN that are now requesting residency. To off-set the rise in non-Jews being given status, they are seriously reducing the visas of foreign and evangelical Christians in the Land. Many ministries have suffered sharp drops in visa renewals and it is clear that a silent policy of elimination has been implemented in the Interior Ministry. Narkis Street Congregation has lost many long term members of the congregation who were suddenly told to leave within two weeks. Much prayer is needed to turn this extreme behavior around.

BURMA (Myanmar) - Stopping in Thailand recently, Vision Beyond Borders visited with some of the hunted Karen people. an ethnic people group who are ruthlessly hunted by Buddhist and Burmese armies. When VBB delivered to them Bibles for their contacts in closed nations, and visited with many in the Karen refugee camp, they learned of the persecution they were having to endure, as well as their strong faith. Burmese soldiers had recently torched their rice fields, their primary source of food.
For 25 years now Burmese refugees have flooded in to Thailand. Many of these refugees are Karen people, some of the most persecuted in Burma. More than half of the Karen people are believers. and so violent persecution is supported by the Burmese Government. According to Patrick Klein, one of the Generals said, " By the year 2010 there will be no more Karen people left." The General went on to express his desire to see them wiped off the face of the earth.
With elections in 2010, attacks on the Karen refugees have greatly increased. The Burmese army captures men and boys, forcing them to become slaves and porters. Karen women are raped and then burned to death. Every child in the refugee orphanages has their own story to tell of violence, bombings, shootings, rape torture and murder. One girl was gang-raped and then hung upside down.
Prowling the Thai border, Burmese soldiers come in to the camps at night to stop cars, steal vegetables and rape the Karen women. Soldiers make a game of tossing infants in to the air and then try to spear the baby on their bayonet before it hits the ground. Nevertheless, despite the horrid persecution, the Karen people persevere in God. Orphans awaken at 4:00 AM for two hours of devotions and worship. They have nightly worship as well.
Attempts are underway to save these Karen people. Land has been purchased further away from the Burmese border for a refugee camp, and several other orphanages have been contacted to help. Construction is ready to begin but they must have approval from the Thai Government. That has not happened yet because Karen people have no identification therefore the Thai Government cannot help them.
Let us pray that Thai Government officials will approve the safer land for a Karen refugee camp. Let us also pray for the survival of the starving Karen people for food will be provided by VBB and pray for opportunities for the Karen believers to share their faith with the others. My heart aches for these dear people. Keep in mind that many of them are our brothers and sisters in the faith.

ISRAEL: PM Bibi Netanyahu has once again repeated his call to opposition leader, Tzipi Livni of Kadima, to bring her party in to a unity coalition, and with more of an 'urgency' this time than before.
Seven Kadima members have already committed to leave the Kadima Party and rejoin the Likud if Livni refuses. Bibi has promised them seven ministerial positions if they do.
Still others within the Kadima Party are unhappy about the way Livni has handled things and feel that there should be a new election called within the Kadima Party. As of this writing, Livni is still refusing to join the unity coalition for the good of the country.
Because of the urgency that Bibi displayed in the call to Livni, many are speculating that Israel is either going to make a strike on Iran's nuclear facilities or an imminent attack by Lebanon's Hezbollah upon Israel, which could very well lead to a regional war.
Also, Israel is to begin fitting its entire population with gas masks in February. Rumors have been circulating that Israel has been preparing for another war on Lebanon to rein in Hezbollah. None of the countries round about Israel are known to harbor major chemical or biological weapons, with the exception of Israel itself, and it is not likely that Israel would launch such an unconventional attack.
Let us pray that nothing happens that would cause the Israelis to have to use these gas masks. Let us continue to pray for the peace and salvation of all Israel.
Some things never change! Washington is screaming about the Israeli Government approving the construction of 700 new Jewish homes on the east side of Jerusalem. They are to be built in a community where tens of thousands of Jews already live. (Natural Growth). Nevertheless, Washington wants that part of Jerusalem for the Palestinian State he is wanting to create and calls the new apartment buildings "settlement activity".
However, Israeli spokesman Mark Regev once again reminded Obama that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and will remain so. Other officials reminded Obama that the eastern part of Jerusalem, where they are building the apartments, is not in an area effected by Bibi's partial 10 month settlement freeze. Also, none of the media bothered to report that Israel also began construction on 500 Arab apartments on the very same day. In Washington's eyes, only what Israel does is illegal!
Obama is also pushing to get peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians jump started, but Foreign Minister Lieberman said that it will not happen because Israel has given and given and do not intend to give any more. The ball is in the court of the Palestinians now.
Pressure is being applied to Obama by Israel now because Israel is fed up with the abuse of the Israeli Security officials by US Diplomatic staff. November 13th the lead car of a five car convoy from the US Consulate in East Jerusalem tried to run down an Israeli Security Guard at a checkpoint in Samaria. The convoy arrived at the Gilboa Crossing and refused to open any windows or provide any identification. The convoy purposefully blocked the entire crossing and the lead vehicle then lunged at one of the Security Guards. Security cameras at the checkpoint caught it all on camera. And this is not the first such incident.
Several months ago a vehicle belonging to the US Consulate in East Jerusalem was caught transporting a Palestinian Arab without proper permits between Jerusalem and Palestinian controlled areas.
Prior to that a situation became very tense when US Security coordinator Lt-Gen Keith Dayton and consul-general Jacob Walles refused to roll down their windows or provide any type of identification at a West Bank checkpoint.
What bullies those who represent us in the US Consultants in Israel have been, especially the consulate on the eastern side of Jerusalem. It is disgraceful and you can be sure would not be at all tolerated if it were an Israeli doing the same at a US checkpoint. I might add that these are the very same ones who do all of the spying for Obama in Israel. Quick to yell "foul" every time Israel puts a shovel in the ground in their own country. Doing flyovers and walk throughs to monitor the Israeli communities.
Let us pray that Abba will raise up divine justice for the Israelis and cause the Middle Eastern media to report the truth, exactly what happens on a day by day basis. Please pray in to all of this as the Holy Spirit leads you to do.
