September, 2005 Greetings! I’ve just returned, with a team, from Casa Grande, Arizona. We were there at the invitation of Pastor Gene Steele and his wife, Betty. It was a great time with the folks on the Tohono O’Odham Reservation. I left a part of my heart there the very first time I was on that Reservation. They are a very special people! When the Lord said that I was to go, He told me that there would not be very many to go with me, for He was going to do for me what He had done for Gideon. He would sort out those who would go with me, and those who would not. He said that through our ministry to these dear people, many hearts would be purified. As they were set free, they would realize the depth and the width of His love for them. Deborah Cain and Jan Stephenson were called out of Berea to go with me. Lou and Karen Saparito came from Vero Beach to join me as well. Today I am still praising God for the incredible unity of this team. The O’Odham people are a very peace loving people. In the past they always co-operated with the US Government, even when they were being abused by them. For many years the Apache Tribe attacked them unmercifully. Cattlemen and Miners, all white men, abused them and their land repeatedly. Christians had hurt them time and again, not wanting them in their congregations. One major denomination pushed them out of their own Church buildings. Through it all, many of the O’Odhams just kept suppressing their feelings and emotions. As a result of that, many had deep bitter roots, and it was stunting their growth and maturity in the Lord. Bitterness, resentments and unforgiveness within a heart will harden that heart. The Lord gave me a Word for them from Philippians 3:13, where we see Paul saying, “I am focusing all my energy on this one thing, forgetting what is behind, and looking forward to what is ahead.” Through this word He was asking them to deal with the footholds the enemy had been given in the past, so that the door to their past could be closed once and for all. Their past is full of disappointments, lies, hurts, abuses, and rejections. Nothing but pain! He was calling them, just as He is calling many of us, to repent of the resentments, unforgiveness, and bitterness in our hearts. Repent of it and allow Him to cleanse our hearts and set us free so that we can move on with Him. Grow and mature in Him. Allow Him to take us in to that deep, intimate place in Him. It is His desire to see all of us walking in all the things that He has purposed for each one of us. He went on to tell them that He has wonderful plans for all of them, but some of those plans are being held back until they stop opening and revisiting the doors of the past. Some of them were being tormented by the enemy, not able to find victory in their lives or circumstances, because they continually open and revisit doors of their past, often leaving them open. When they are left open the enemy will move right in to do even more damage. It was a rather lengthy message, but in the end the Lord was saying, “Close the doors of your past! Close them, and do not go back to them! Come! Move on with Me!” The Lord went on to share with them that, yes, He is a God of love and mercy, but He is also a God of justice and Judgment. “Vengeance is Mine! I will be your lawyer! I will plead your case! I will avenge you, just let me do what must be done to break every yoke, and set you free to bring your healing!” After I finished sharing His Word with them, and shared the Scriptures that He gave me for them, I invited those who were willing to truly repent, and close the doors to their past to pray a prayer of repentance with me. Bless their hearts, the entire congregation prayed after me with sincerity. Afterwards some came forward for hands on ministry, and then we had a foot washing, as the Lord instructed us to do. It was such a precious time in the Presence of the Lord. His love flowed from one to the other. That evening we picked up where we left off in the morning service. We prayed for the cleansing of the land, and that the dry bones in the villages would receive life from the Spirit of the living God. They all turned toward the 77 villages on that reservation, extended their hands toward them, and their intercession was awesome. Jan shared her testimony after that, which so confirmed the Word of the Lord spoken that morning. Monday morning in the service, Deborah shared her testimony which once again confirmed the Word the Lord had me carry to them. Lou and Karen both shared from their hearts as well. The Pastor from Santa Rosa Village asked that I share for her people to hear, where the Lord brought me from, and how He got me to the place I am today. Then Pastor Gene asked that I share a little about what is happening in Israel. The Lord had me lay out the parallel between what happened to the Jews in Gush Katif, at the prodding of our President and State Department, and the devastation, evacuation and displacement of so many Americans on the Gulf Coast. I was so glad that I had done so, for afterwards several people came up to me to tell me that they had not understood it all until I began to connect the dots for them. Then they saw it clearly. Praise His Name! He knows what He is doing, if we will just co-operate with Him and let Him do it! After the morning service at Desert Oasis, we all crossed over to the Feast House and enjoyed lunch and a sweet, sweet time of fellowship with all of our brothers and sisters on that Reservation. The musicians did a fine job, and through out the weekend, we all enjoyed hearing many testimonies from our brothers and sisters in the meetings. God has truly blessed these people with a wonderful place to come together from all the villages and worship and Praise His Holy Name! His peace abounds there, and His presence is there! It truly is a place set apart for His Glory! It is going to be exciting to see how the Lord moves in their midst from now on. The Lord cautioned them all not to worship their God as the pagan peoples surrounding them worship their gods. He said, “You influence them, do not let them influence you! Influence them by living your life wholly committed to Me! Your life wholly committed to Me is the most radical form of worship that there is! A life wholly committed to Me will be a light to all those round about you, and you will bring great glory to My Holy Name” He also asked them to let go of all cultural traditions that are not of Him. He told them, “I have no problems with your cultural traditions, as long as they are not contrary to My Holy Word.” Let us all heed those words! They speak to every one of us! PTL! Does God Send Angry Weather? This is a question that has been asked of me many times. This week alone, I have received numerous emails and phone calls concerning the Ministers of the Gospel on TBN saying, “Our God is a God of love and mercy. He would never send a hurricane, earthquake, tornado, or flood our way.” “Never,” they say! Well, I beg to differ! Yes, He is a God of love and mercy, but He is also a God of justice and judgment! And His cup of wrath is full! He has been warning America for a number of years, but it has fallen on deaf ears. He first began calling me to warn everyone within my realm of influence in 1997. At that time, He said, “Myrna, America is unclean! Her only answer is Jesus! Because of the concerts of prayer and fasting that have risen before Me as a sweet incense, I AM coming to America, but I AM not coming the way they think I AM coming! I AM coming as refiners fire and fullers soap. As I do that, I will require of My people that they walk in a spirit of repentance, fast as I call them to fast, and pray as I lead them to pray. That will send forth across this nation the mercy and grace needed to cause multitudes to come in to My Kingdom.” “Fire! I AM bringing fire in to the Church! Fire in to the Government! Fire in to the Schools and Universities! Fire in to the streets! To purify! Purify! Purify! I AM drawing the enemy out! I AM exposing! I AM coming like a whirlwind on the land, and nothing will be left untouched! No one will be left out! All will have to make a decision for or against Me!” “I AM coming as a mighty wind upon the Earth! I AM coming as a raging river! I will shake and shake! MY fire will scorch and burn! I AM going to burn up or destroy every abominable thing on the face of this Earth. I have begun to roar and the Earth has begun to quake. You have seen tornados, floods, and hurricanes, but know that what you have seen thus far is only the beginning, for more judgment is coming! Many lives will be devastated! The stench of pride that has ruled in this Nation, and in the Church called by My Name, will be eradicated! Sudden events are going to happen that will catapult this Nation to her knees, and the pride of America will be broken.” “Your Nation has a destiny and a charge to fulfill! However they have chosen to go their own way. America is not Holy, or as a Light of Truth to the nations. There is no clear standard of Truth visible in your nation, for the Church has not risen up to stand or seek Me on behalf of your land. They only care for their comforts and pleasures, but that is about to change! The comforts and pleasures will not satisfy any longer, nor will they be readily available as before. I AM confronting the materialism and apathy of My people. There will be no pleasure in this new season, with new direction!” These are only a few excerpts from all that He has given me to speak the past eight years. Many have listened and taken His Words to heart, while many have not. He said, “When My judgments are in the earth, people have a healthy fear of the Lord!” He also said, “Sin is so blatant in America now that judgment must come! I have been patient! I have warned and warned but it has done nothing to change man. There is no other way! Judgment must come!” “As all of these things happen, you must prophesy when I tell you to prophesy! I AM on MY Throne, and I will not allow Satan to be blamed. It is all coming from MY Hand! I AM the one causing the chaos! I AM the one sending the fire! I AM the One bringing discipline and great destruction to America! You will tell them it is from Me!” Note: Any Minister of the Gospel who is declaring God does not bring natural disasters upon nations who are unrepentant, simply do not know the Word of God from cover to cover, or they just simply do not believe the Word of God. Think about all of the plagues that He Himself brought upon Pharoh and the Egyptian people, because Pharoh would not release His people to worship Him. How many times He has taken me to Job 38:22 when He brought a natural disaster upon Israel’s enemies quite suddenly to thwart a terrorist attack. “Have you visited the treasuries of the snow? Have you seen where the hail is made and stored? I have reserved it for the time of trouble, for the day of battle and war (judgment).” Time and again we read of the thunder being the tremendous voice of His Majesty! We see how He directs the lightning bolts. I could go on and on! I can’t tell you how many Ministers I have heard say that God would never strike a person. However, we see that He sent the death angel to take the lives of the first born children because of Pharoh’s sin. We see Abigail’s husband struck dead because of his evil ways. We see Ananias and Sapphira struck dead because they lied to the apostles, and to the Holy Spirit. Pray for the Ministers who declare such nonsense. They are confusing and deceiving the sheep, and they will be held accountable. There are a lot of them out there! Christian television is polluted with them. It is no wonder that the Lord said recently that we will soon see Ministers of the Gospel fall dead behind the pulpits. He said, “Enough is enough!”
Is There a Link Between Gaza and Katrina? Rabbi Lazer Brody certainly thinks so! He teaches that we must always search for the Divine message in all the events of our lives, since God speaks to us by way of our environment. Katrina hit the US coast line just as the bulldozers were completing the destruction of Gush Katif. He said that God administers the world according to the ATFAT principle, which means “a turn for a turn” He believes that there is a link between the forced expulsion of 8,500 Jews from their blood, sweat, and tear soaked homes in Gaza, Israel, and the more than 850,000 people who were forced to flee from their homes in Louisiana. He said that after PM Sharon, at the prodding of President Bush, Condi Rice, and the US State Department, destroyed hallowed places of worship and prayer (Synagogues) and 25 communities, God wasted no time in showing His wrath. He even commented on the fact that Condi Rice’s home state was targeted, just as President Bush’s home state has been targeted time and time again with tornados, floods etc. He said, “He who creates exiles in the Holy Land, will have a hundred fold exiles in his own land.” Katrina written in Hebrew has a numerical equivalent of 374. Two relevant passages in the Scriptures share the exact numerical equivalent of 374 also. “They have done you evil,” (Gen. 50:17) and “The sea upon the land,” (Exodus 14:15). The former passage indicates the spiritual cause of Katrina, and the latter passage describes the physical manifestation. Rabbi Brody prayed: “Mr Bush and Ms Rice, I implore you to repent, to ask God’s forgiveness for destroying a flourishing part of Israel. Cancel all your demands for further territorial concessions in Israel. If by your initiative more Jews are rendered homeless, God forbid, I shudder to think of what will happen. Please take Katrina very seriously. She is a no-nonsense messenger from the Almighty.” I must say, “Amen and amen,” to all that this dear Rabbi has shared from his heart! I shared with you all several times what the Lord said to me, “The cup that was given to Israel to drink, has been given to America to drink, that she will see her sins, repent and be saved.” Keep in mind that how we treat Israel will determine how we will be treated. God Himself will see to that! Since 2000 I have been warning everyone that President Bush is leading our nation in to conflict with the Almighty. The God of Israel is watching every move that he and Condi Rice are making where Israel is concerned. God has been calling His people home to Israel, to build and to plant on the mountains of Israel, settle the land, and wait for Him to meet with them there. Thousands have done just that, building lush verdant communities out of sand dunes. Many have been living in those communities for three generations. The redemption of the Jewish people, and their return to Israel from the four corners of the Earth, is an unstoppable divine process. The “Palestinians” won’t stop it, the Europeans won’t stop it, and America won’t stop it. It is God’s plan for His people. Nevertheless, they are all determined to try. America’s support for the expulsion and displacement of thousands of Jews from Gaza and Northern Samaria ran counter to God’s Plan for these dear people, and it is very clear that His judgment came swift and furious as Hurricane Katrina uprooted whole communities along the Gulf Coast. Thousands were forced to flee from their homes and were made refugees, just as thousands of Jews were forced from their homes and made refugees. Thousands lost their homes and property, just as thousands of Jews lost their homes, farms, businesses and factories. Thousands were put on buses and shipped off not knowing where they were going, just as it happened to thousands of Jews. On and on it goes, and there is much more to come our way because our President will not repent and call America to repentance. What President Bush and Condi Rice have done to Israel by dividing and giving away God’s Land, displacing His people from their homes, and preparing to build a Palestinian State in the heartland of Israel, is not the only reason that Katrina hit our coast as she did. It was simply the straw that broke the camel’s back. You see, Louisiana, especially New Orleans, has been on His radar screen for a long time. It is a city that is known world wide for its excessive indulgences and or licentious behavior. The city is filthy with every kind of sin one can even imagine. The Lord said it was a stench to His nostrils! In spite of all that has happened, there has been no sign of repentance anywhere. The officials of Louisiana have displayed nothing but arrogance. Their chief concern is the millions they are loosing from the casinos, hotels, bars, and brothels daily. One report after the other tells everyone not to worry for they will have everything up and running before Mardi Gras. The French Quarter will be ready to go in 90 days. The hotels will be ready for the tourists coming in. Unbelievable! Lust and Greed! From our President on down all we have heard is what a great and beautiful city that it was, and how it will be rebuilt bigger and better than before. “We will succeed!” Pride, pride, pride! Completely independent of God! We all must pray for our national leadership, that their spiritual eyes and ears may be attentive to the God of Israel who stirs up the waves so they roar. They must not shut their ears when He is speaking. They must handle with great respect the people whom He has chosen as the apple of His eye. Note: President Bush is doing the very same thing that Bill Clinton did to Bibi Netanyahu when he was PM of Israel. Bill Clinton sent James Carvel to Israel to work behind the scenes to bring Bibi’s administration down. They even went so far as to trump up false charges against Bibi, from which he was eventually vindicated. Now, with new elections on the horizon in Israel, Bibi Netanyahu is running against PM Sharon, and President Bush is working quietly behind the scenes to prop up PM Sharon to try to keep Bibi from being elected Prime Minister so his ‘road map,’ leading to a Palestinian State, can become a reality. We have no right to interfere in Israel’s elections. It will only bring more judgment!
Pastor Sadie Connor and her team have just returned from Jamaica, West Indies. I’ve not had an opportunity to speak with her as of this writing. I do know that Pastor Sadie is grateful for all of the prayer covering she receives from all of you, as she goes in His Name, seeking souls for His Kingdom. May I ask you to pray for her now as she prepares to leave for Panama. Hopefully we will have a report on both missions in the next newsletter. I would appreciate your prayers as I go off to Washington, DC again this month. I will be there from September 26th through September 29th. Jewish Roots Seminar This is an all day and evening affair (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM) held in Monticello, KY on October 8th. The venue will be Mt. View Baptist Camp, and it will be hosted by South Main Missionary Baptist Church. The Pastor is Don Huffaker. November 12, 2005 Brigitte is a Lebanese Christian, residing in Virginia, who has one dynamic testimony. One you won’t want to miss hearing. She began her career as the News Anchor for “World News” which is the evening news broadcast for Middle East Television seen weeknights throughout Israel, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Cyprus, and Lebanon. She served as Production Coordinator for German Television in South Lebanon, Gaza, Judea and Samaria. She was the Satellite Video Distribution Coordinator for Worldwide Television News studios in London for daily Eurovision Satellite Distribution to networks worldwide. After relocating to the US in 1989, she founded a consultant service for those in national and international media. In 2002 she founded ACT, “American Congress for Truth” to provide information about the Middle East conflict. Brigitte speaks four languages: Arabic, French, English, and Hebrew. She is a Lebanese Christian who loves, stands with, and supports Israel and the Jews. I have heard this dear sister before, I’ve spent much time in conversation with her, and I must tell you that I am more than delighted that she will be with us November 12th. Thank You so much! May I take this opportunity to thank all of you who made it possible for me to take a team to Arizona with me. I am also grateful for all of the prayers that you prayed for the five of us while we were gone. From what some of you have shared, we apparently kept the angels assigned to travel with us quite busy. Pastor Gene wrote to say that had we not left for the airport when we did, we would have missed our flights back home, for there were problems shortly after we passed through that closed the roads. Thank You, Lord! I want to thank those of you who support this ministry financially, for we have been able to help many to go in His Name in to fields white with harvest in a number of nations. We have also been able to send thousands of dollars to help the displaced Jews in Israel, and those making Aliyah to Israel. Thank you, again, for all of your prayers. This ministry was founded on, and is sustained by, prayer and fasting. |
