Greetings!

As I begin this newsletter, I am just realizing that this year, 2006, is half gone already. It is amazing to see how quickly time is passing us by. It is also amazing to watch the dear Lord work in our midst, doing so much, and most always “suddenly”. This has been another travel month for me, and it blesses my heart to see so many truly pressing in to Him in worship and in prayer.

I want to thank all of you who pray for me as I have to spend so much time on the road. The Lord has likened my travel, in this season, to that of an old time circuit preacher. Please know that your prayers are deeply appreciated. I want to thank all of you who contribute to this ministry financially, and those of you who help me personally. I am so very grateful to you. You enable us to reach so many more here at home, as well as abroad. He continues to extend our borders!

Also, I want to thank Lawrence & Iris Haby, as well as JoAnn Hahn, for opening their homes where many of us could gather together. Their love, warmth and hospitality was overwhelming. It has also been a blessing to meet so many new brothers and sisters in the Lord. I’ve so enjoyed hearing some of their testimonies that I’m sure must truly bless the heart of our Father. It has really blessed my heart to hear how some of them have made such a firm stand publicly for righteousness, and they are walking it out. All to the glory of God!

In this hour, the Lord is speaking to many of us, calling us to make a major decision before stepping in to a new phase of ministry with Him. And when He calls us to step in to a new phase of ministry, He tells us to take our time in making our decision, for we must count the cost!

That reminds me of Moses, who was quite comfortable living in the King’s Palace, with more than adequate provisions. However, when God called him, Moses chose not to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, but to go to be with his people, the Hebrews, and share in their hardships and suffering. Moses made a major decision before leaving the Palace to answer the call of God to deliver His people from the hands of Pharaoh.

Queen Esther was called to stand in the gap for her people, the Jews. She was in a comfortable place at the time she was called upon, so she had to make a major decision. To answer the call to help her people could have cost her life. However, Esther chose to answer that call saying, “If I perish, I perish!”

Think about Yeshua! He was led in to the wilderness by the Holy Spirit, where He was being tempted by Satan. At that time, before beginning His ministry, He made a major decision! He chose the direction His ministry would take. It would be a ministry without compromise. He would go the way of the cross that we might have salvation. He laid His life down for all of us. Can we do any less than lay our lives down for Him in the days ahead?

Speaking of God’s people, the Jews, I want to share with you a Word from the Lord received by Jim Stone just this past week. This is a word that is not to be taken lightly! It reads as follows:

“There is one thing! One thing that is particularly close to My heart, and I AM going to judge even those closest and most diligent about their relation to Me, and that is their lack of prayer and blessings for and to My people Israel. They are nearly passive in their prayer life!

“Think!!! How many times a day do you cry out for My people Israel? How many times do you think about My heart, My purpose, and My plan? The world around you, the world and its condition, that you most often think of critically, is in ways you don’t discern, partially your fault. Write a log of your prayer life and see, honestly, how much is devoted to My cry, My people, and My Land. You will find your blessings will be much shorter than your desire.

“I said I would bless those who bless My people in prayer, in offerings, in compassion and real heart concern. Remember My servant, Samuel, cried out, “Be it far from me to sin by not praying for you,” and that goes for anything that I have called you to pray for. You best wake up, and do My call! Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem! Pray for My people, and their Land! Your personal peace, and that of your loved ones, rests in your obedience to this call in My Word! WAKE UP AND PRAY!!!”

Brothers and Sisters, you must understand that the Lord has been patient and long suffering! Since 1983 He has had me, and many others, sharing His heart for Israel, and the Jewish people. He has had us sharing His plans and purposes for the Land of Israel. Time and time again He has reminded us that the one thing that He is doing with His whole heart and soul is the call to His people, the Jews, to come home to Israel. His call for them to make Aliyah! Time and time again He has had me remind everyone that we as believers in Yeshua are called to do everything possible to help them to make Aliyah.

In Isaiah 49:22 He said, “See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up My banner to the peoples; They will bring your sons in their arms, and carry your daughters on their shoulders.”
In Isaiah 66:20 He said, “And they will bring all your brothers from all the nations, to My Holy Mountain in Jerusalem, as an offering to the Lord.”

He has spoken to all of us in Romans 15:25 about helping them both materially and financially. He said, “For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings.”

We all owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the Jews, for had it not been for them keeping the Holy Word of God all those years, we would never have heard the Gospel, nor would we have the Bible which we hold so dear to our hearts.

It is no wonder that the dear Lord is so upset with the Church, and also with many of the American Jews, who are doing very little, if anything, to help His people in the Land. He says that they are resisting Him, in many ways working against Him. They are much too comfortable here! Not to mention the American Government, who is pressuring and bullying Israel unmercifully to cut up, divide, and give away His Land to a false god. In short, forcing them to break covenant with their God. Lord, have mercy on us!

Anti-Semitism Rampant In France

To give you all an idea as to what is going on in France, where there are now between five and six million Muslims, and about 600,000 Jews, I share this first hand report from a Jew still living in France. He writes: “I Am A Jew! I am forwarding this to everyone on my email list for I will not sit back and do nothing. Nowhere have the flames of anti-semitism burned more furiously than in France.

In Lyon, a car was rammed into a Synagogue and set on fire. In Montpellier, the Jewish religious center was firebombed; so were Synagogues in Strasbourg and Marseilles; and also a Jewish School in Creteil – all recently.

A Jewish Sports Club in Toulouse was attacked with Molotov cocktails, and on the statue of Alfred Dreyfus in Paris, the words “Dirty Jew” were painted. In Bondy, 15 men beat up members of a Jewish football team with sticks and metal bars. The bus that takes the Jewish children to school in Aubervilliers has been attacked three times in the last fourteen months. According to the Police, metropolitan Paris has seen ten to twelve anti-Jewish incidents per day in the past thirty days. WAKE UP, WORLD! Walls in Jewish neighborhoods have been defaced with slogans proclaiming “Jews to the Gas Chambers!” and “Death to the Jews!”

A gunman opened fire on a Kosher butcher’s shop (and, of course, the butcher) in Toulouse, France; A Jewish couple in their twenties were beaten up by five men in Villeurbanne, France. The woman was pregnant. A Jewish school was broken in to and vandalized in Sarcelles, France. This happened this past week. So I call on you, whether you are a fellow Jew, a friend, or merely a person with the capacity and desire to distinguish decency from depravity, to care enough to stay informed! Don’t ever let yourself become deluded into thinking that this is not your fight.

I remind you of what Pastor Neimoller said in World War II: “First they came for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up, because I wasn’t a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up, because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me.”

The number one best seller in France is “September 11: The Frightening Fraud,” which argues that there was no plane that ever hit the Pentagon. Is it any wonder that Aliyah from France to Israel has increased dramatically?

You are probably wondering why I am sharing this letter in this newsletter. I am doing so because some of these very same things have begun to happen right here in America. I have quite a lengthy list and I am adding to it each and every day. However, much of it is being covered up in our media. After all, Islam is a peaceful religion! Right ? To say otherwise is not politically correct! America, wake up, before it is too late!!!
 

Hitler Memorial Planned in Wisconsin

A retired farmer, a holocaust denier, who served in a branch of a German paramilitary unit in World War II is turning some of his property into a memorial to Adolf Hitler. Ted Junker, 87 years old, plans the grand opening June 25th 2006. The memorial is in a concrete structure in the side of a hill. He told officials he was building a tractor shed, and now they fear what will happen since he has gone public.

A Crying Shame: Charlatans in the House J. Lee Grady

Churches and ministries are employing bizarre gimmics to raise money. What has happened to our discernment? You’ve probably heard it on Christian T.V. before. An evangelist opens his Bible, reads a Scripture, then suggests that you send an odd amount of money to keep your favorite program on the air for another month. He begs, pleads, and cries. Then he tells you if you hurry and give right now, “while God is stirring the waters,” the Holy Spirit will reward you in an extra special way. I’ve heard different amounts suggested such as $64.11 to correlate with some obscure Old Testament Scripture reference. The implication is if you write a check for this magical amount, God will release some kind of special blessing on you, such as the salvation of loved ones, or the quick sale of a house.

To the untrained ear it sounds like a formula for blessing. Actually it is more akin to superstition, or even worse, witchcraft. Its not even remotely biblical, but then those of us in the Charismatic movement are so used to tolerating such shenanigans, that we think it is standard procedure for fundraising. Some have succumbed to the infamous “debt reduction” tactic. It goes like this, “God says that if you will give $1,000.00 sacrificial offering right now, you will supernaturally get out of debt. The miracle anointing is here! You will release it as you write the check! And, we take credit cards, too!” Talk about voo doo economics! This kind of manipulation is against the law in Canada, but the US Government allows it. That does not make it right, though! And believe it or not, it is becoming even more blatant and bizarre!

A widely traveled minister recently gave a message about what he called, “the Boaz anointing” at a prominent congregation in Florida. Then he invited anyone who wanted this “new” blessing to come to the altar, where gullible souls were encouraged to deposit a check for $1,500.00 in the basket. Apparently the Boaz anointing can be yours if you can afford the hefty price.

At another congregation in Florida, a “prophet” said that he would have a personal word of blessing to pronounce over any person who could give $1,000.00 in the offering. He was actually selling personal prophecies. Some actually fell for it! I wanted to rip my shirt and throw dust on my head! Is it any wonder that the Church makes no impact on society when we allow greedy imposters to pollute our pulpits? They are no different than the sons of Eli, who took the people’s offerings by force so they could spend it on their own selfish wants. They have fallen in to the error of the sorcerer Simon, who offered to buy the power of the Holy Spirit so that he could impress people.

I’ve heard some suggest that “God will bless anyone who gives” even if they give to a crook. That is hogwash! Seed must be sown into good ground if it’s going to produce. Those who use manipulation, strong arm tactics or Scripture twisting to get money, or who sell the anointing of God so they can buy clothes and houses are not going to release any form of blessing. In fact, they just might release curses of poverty, bankruptcy, fraud and confusion. Such dark forces actually follow ministries that have given themselves over to this spirit of financial manipulation. Jude 11-13 tells us that charlatans, those who follow the “error of Balaam,” will face a harsh judgment in the “black darkness” of hell.

You don’t have to stop giving, for God loves a cheerful giver, but He does not want us to give under compulsion. Nor does He want us to reward the modern sons of Eli. Speak out! Confront those who misuse the Bible to dig for money. Change the channel! Get up and walk out! Give to ministries that focus on meeting real needs. This financial foolishness will end when all of us take a stand.
 

The Business of Faith

Several weeks ago I was walking through a Walgreen Store, and the Lord stopped me as I passed the magazine counter. He told me to back up, and when I did, my eyes fell on a magazine called “Black Enterprises”. In big letters, on the cover, I read, “The Business of Faith,” and pictured on the front cover behind those words were Bishop Eddie Long, Bishop T.D. Jakes, and Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell. Inside the magazine appeared a special report which said, “Black mega-churches are turning pastors in to CEOs of multimillion-dollar enterprises.” How many times the Lord has said that they are CEOs, and not the shepherds that He has called them to be.

Purpose Driven Instead of Spirit Led

Pastor Chuck Smith of Costa Mesa, California, has just directed all of the Calvary Chapels across the US to discontinue all of Rick Warren’s Purpose Driven material effective immediately. He has done so because of the deceptive teachings and positions of Rick Warren. I thank God for this shepherd who has moved to protect the sheep that the Lord has made him responsible for.
 

South Dakota Tribe Won’t Allow Abortions

The Oglala Sioux Tribal Council voted to emulate South Dakota’s abortion ban and forbid the procedure on tribal land. Sioux tribal law, which respects the life of pre-born babies, says a child conceived, but not born, is to be deemed an existing person so far as may be necessary for its interest and welfare to be protected in the event of its subsequent birth. Praise the Lord!
 

Artwork Barred Because of a Scripture Verse

Sharon Marolf, who is an award winning artist, had two of her pieces displayed at a city recreation center in Delta, Colorado. One of the paintings featured her granddaughter, and a quote at the bottom from Psalm 127:3 “Children are a heritage from the Lord, a reward from Him.” The other painting was titled “Circles/Squares” and had a Scripture verse which referenced circles and squares. Both of Sharon’s paintings were removed because of the Scripture verses. She has filed a civil-rights law suit against the city. Let us pray for her, and also that justice is done.

Just a few months ago, in Deltona, Florida, Lloyd Marcus had three paintings removed from an employee-organized display in the lobby of Deltona City Hall. The paintings were celebrating Black History Month, and contained small references to the Christian Faith. The officials said that hanging the colorful pieces would be tantamount to the town favoring a specific religion. Because the display was in a public building, they were fearful that someone would think the government was advocating in favor of one religion over another.

One of the banned paintings was a joyful New Orleans funeral procession, and the other was entitled “3 A.M.” and showed a partial Bible and part of the name “Jesus” on a church sign. To my knowledge, Lloyd did not challenge the city. You know, I can recall when the Lord first told me how the persecution in this country would begin, He said that they would begin by bringing law suits against us, placing many restrictions on us, and passing laws to limit our voices. Then, He said that the momentum would begin to build. And that is exactly what is happening.
 

Christian Movie Given PG Rating

There was no sex, nudity, profanity, or violence in the movie “Facing the Giants.” It was an inspirational family film about a high school football coach whose faith helps him and his young players overcome fear and failure. Nevertheless, the Motion Picture Association of America rated it a “PG” film instead of the family-friendly “G” rating that it should have had.

When the filmmakers questioned the Association as to why the “PG” rating, they were told it was because of its Christian message of hope and faith in God. They went on to say that the movie contained strong ‘thematic elements’ that might disturb some parents. Their rationale was that when films are heavily laden with messages from one religion, they feel a need to alert parents to something in the film that might be counter to what they themselves believe. Isn’t it interesting that faith in God is something that they feel a need to add to the list of things to warn parents about?

“Facing the Giants” is a production of Sherwood Pictures. It was co-written and co-produced by two brothers: Alex and Stephen Kendrick. They are “associate pastors of media” at Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia, where they produce the mega-church’s cable TV channel. The brothers vow to continue to make Christian-themed films. Alex said, “Faith can be a powerful thing. I have seen many young people make decisions that change their lives in amazing and dramatic ways. The reason we’re making movies in the first place is that we hope they inspire people to think twice about their relationships with God.

Let us pray for these two brothers and the ministry to which they have been called. Let us also pray for the
Motion Picture Association of America, as well as every other form of media that is out there. Have we not had enough of this politically correct nonsense that has put us, as a nation, on a slippery slope to destruction?

Barbara Wittbrodt has returned from Korea and sends a hearty thank you to all of you. She said, “Your prayers kept me strengthened and moving ahead for two months. It was a blessing of the Lord to be able to teach conversational English to college students at the ‘School of Youth Ministry in English’ in Korea. About half of the seventy students were saved when they came, and most of the others received Jesus before I came back home. We need to be praying for the salvation of the other five students who had not yet made that commitment.”

“I taught four classes each day, two Bible Studies, a reading, and a conversational class. The students had to speak English from 7:40 AM until 9:00 PM. Their growth in the Lord, and also in English ability, right before our eyes, was amazing. Before I left Korea, many of my students had tears, were hugging me and calling me their American grandmother. They were wonderful students, and we just couldn’t say good bye. We just said, “See you again!” Many of them hope to come to the US for Bible Studies. I’m so glad the door of opportunity opened, and I could walk through it. Prayer was the power for the very busy days in Korea. Thank you all very much, and thank You, Lord! God Bless you all!” Barbara

Scott Holtz and his team have returned from their assignment in Israel. They have a major counter-terrorism sign and wonder to report. “The Holy Spirit quickened us to drive along the majority of the ‘West Bank’ territory line by night. As we did, instantly deep groaning intercession welled up within us with precision shofar soundings and drive-bys erupting as the Spirit willed. The Lord told us to specifically prophesy that the major Hamas terror heads would be brought to justice, and that confusion would well up within the ranks of the PA vs Hamas, so they would begin to fight amongst themselves.

Just a few days later we were humbled to see once again God’s mighty hand of justice move to flush out these terror heads. The #1 terror master mind was suddenly captured. Israel’s security had been searching for him for eight years. Then a couple days later, the bloody power struggle began between the PA and Hamas. It was a powerful operation, and we thank you all for your prayers. To God be all of the glory! Great and mighty things He has done!”

Let us continue to lay a solid foundation of prayer under Pastor Sadie’s upcoming missions to Jamaica and Panama. She and her team are asking the Lord for souls to be saved. Let us agree with them in prayer. I would appreciate your prayers as I travel again this week. I will be on the road when you receive this newsletter.

Many have been writing and calling to find out why I am not sending out many prayer alerts. Number one I have been having computer problems, which make it very difficult to send out to each individual, and number two, the Lord is not giving me that many to post. Any that He does have me post, Kin will put up on the website. My time is very limited now. He said that my time must be spent in the Word of God, writing, and working on my book, not to mention all of the traveling. It is His desire that everyone come to Him, and then pray that which He Himself lays upon each individual heart.

To all of us He is saying, “Cry for My Church to turn back to Me! Many are born again, and have a grip on some truths and revelation, but few have My heart beating in their chests, whereby My heart cry is for humble, repentant hearts which are full of mercy and justice.”

Let us all continue to pray for Divine intervention in Iran. Pray much for the persecuted Church in Iran. The Christians have experienced severe persecution and restrictions for many, many years. Intimidation of the Iranian Christians has been intensifying. Let us pray for their protection, that their discernment be sharpened, that wisdom be imparted to them, and holy boldness to be the witnesses that God needs them to be, as the Holy Spirit presents them with the opportunity. May every Iranian hear the Gospel, and have understanding of what they hear. May millions of Iranians repent, and commit their lives to Yeshua.

Let us continue to pray for the situation in Iraq, and certainly for our military that are deployed there as well as in Afghanistan. Pray for their protection, and that God sharpen their discernment. Let us pray the same way for the Israeli Defense Forces.

Until the next time, I pray that God will have mercy on all of us, as we look to Him and Him alone for our protection. Let us hide beneath the shadow of His wings, until the violent storms have passed.
