Greetings from Murrysville,

I’m writing this letter at the close of Shabbat.  It has been a wonderful time in the Presence of the Lord, yet at the same time difficult to face the stark reality of what is about to come,  taking so many people off guard.  As a nation we are not ready for any of it, and approximately 85-90% of the Church has not prepared or made ready either with time very quickly running out.      

Abba shared that He has been warning His people through many voices to prepare and make ready for extremely difficult times are coming.  He has said over and over again that we should be storing such things as non-perishable foods, bottled water, fire wood, and even warm bedding and clothing for extremely cold and deadly winters are coming and we will not always have gas or electric to light and heat our homes. He said that He began warning His people far in advance to prepare, for when the secular world awakens to the reality of what is happening, they will clean off store shelves lickity-split.     

As we enter in to the last half of 2009 we are going to see a real escalation of time.  I have noticed it for quite some time, but Abba is telling me it is about to become much more so.  We are also going to see more and more darkness over take this country as Yeshua, the Light, is being shut out of just about every place, and as hearts continue to grow colder refusing to repent and return to God, our temperatures will turn increasingly cold.   

“When the godly are in authority the people rejoice, but when the wicked are in power, they groan.”  (Prov. 29:2). 

“When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily, but wise and knowledgeable leaders bring stability.”  (Prov. 28:2).

“When the wicked are in authority, sin flourishes, but the godly will live to see their downfall.” (Prov. 29:16).

The corruption in our government, our bullying of the sovereign nation of Israel and the moral rot in America has caused Abba to say, “Enough is enough!”  Once again He reminded me that He is allowing America’s enemies to come against her.  As I’ve shared before, both Russia and Communist China will be rods of judgment in His hands to attack our nation.  He is allowing Islam to rise up strong within America because our government, (several administrations), have given them a seat of authority in our country.  These countries will show us no mercy! 

The Church has failed miserably! All too many have refused to preach against the blatant sin in the Church, or preach the need for repentance on both a personal and a national level.  Many have not taught the whole counsel of God and still others have mixed New Age, mysticism, eastern religions etc in to the Word of God profaning both the Name of God and His Holy Word.

I would be remiss if I didn’t speak of the Prosperity and Self Improvement preachers who have led their people into greed and self indulgence while causing countless numbers to turn away from God, those who have done nothing to prepare the people for the End Times.  Last but certainly not least, the Interfaith Movement which teaches that people of all religions worship the same god and that all paths lead to Heaven.  Pure deception!

I could go on and on sharing why Abba is about to bring down many big name preachers and teachers and raise up nameless, faceless ones to speak for Him, and why the wrath of Almighty God is about to be poured out on America and the nations.  Why we need to walk in a spirit of repentance, a spirit of forgiveness and walk in obedience to His every command.  He and He alone will be our refuge and our strength if we will just trust and obey Him.  If we will believe and trust Him, we can enter in to His rest despite the turmoil and persecution going on all around us.  We can find rest in His Shadow.

To date we have seen remedial judgments, but now we are going to begin to see the wrath of Almighty God poured out.  Abba just recently told Daniel Boehler that we should all be alert and watchful around July 1^st for “the shaking of all shakings, greater than anything we have seen, will begin”.  “Dear Lord, in wrath, please, remember mercy!”

A couple of weeks ago the Lord began to speak to Mike Poremba about a food shortage coming to Los Angeles this summer.  He spoke to Mike quite profoundly saying that Los Angeles would be hit by a major earthquake soon and he sensed that it would be in July.  However, Mike is encouraging everyone to be prepared for it between now and August.  He was not told how powerful it would be or where the epicenter would be located, but he feels that Christians should be prepared to go several weeks minimally without access to basic perishables and foodstuffs.  He also suggests that congregations begin to stock rice, beans, etc for it will be an opportunity to minister to their community through the season.

Jim Whitecotton writes: “I would like to share some things that are on my heart with you.  I have just lost my job due to the auto industry.  I have been working with the company for 15 years.  The Lord has been telling me, “I AM shaking everything that can be shaken!”

“Now is the time to focus on Him and stay focused.  We have got to teach people to sit at His feet and let God do whatever He wants to do with us.  This means total surrender in every aspect of our lives.  Our relationships, marriages, children, parents, jobs, ministry etc, everything we have our hands to.  This will take a tremendous amount of humility to accomplish, but we have to remember that He is the potter and we are the clay. 

“This will only begin when we come to the end of ourselves and put focus back on the cross.  We have to remember that everything we will ever need was provided for at the cross.  We as believers need to live a victorious Christian life that is filled up with the Spirit of God.”

Note:  Thank you for sharing your heart with us, Jim!  Very well said!  We will all be praying for you, and the many others who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own, as He leads.

  Ron Taylor writes:  “I was ordained and became a Messianic Jewish teacher in 1983 and have lived for the Lord all these years.  In 2004 a Rabbi’s wife introduced my wife and I to a stock and bond manager, who was also the organist at the First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia and only worked with Christians and churches.

“His organization dealt mostly with foreign stocks as they yielded more interest.  We were in our 60s and needed all the retirement help we could get so we ended up giving him all of our savings, 401K and all.  The dividends began to come in and all was fine.  We bought a new house in Del Rio, Texas, all new furniture and a new car.   We were helping a number of people who were in need, which included paying their house payments, fixing their cars, buying cars for abandoned women, (three in one month, good cars yet not new). We were doing everything we thought God would have us to do.

“In October 2005 the Stock Manager was indicted by the SEC for running a ponzi scheme.  Two days later he committed suicide.  My wife and I sat and watched as they took our furniture, the car and then the house. The SEC got a good portion of our bank account without our knowledge claiming it was unjust gains. 

“We moved in to an old trailer house out from town and simply existed until 2007.  A friend of ours had an apartment attached to their home south of Houston and invited us to come there and find work for that is where I had worked for many years as an Industrial Construction Manager.  For three months I tried everything, even as a guard at a refinery.  No one would give me the time of day so we went back home to live out our life.   Now there is one thing, through this entire ordeal we never turned away from God, and we continued to tithe, even though the tithe didn’t amount to much.       

“In September 2007, after we had tried everything, and I had given up on everything but God, a man called whom I had never heard of, from a company I had never heard of and offered me a management position at a salary I just couldn’t believe.  In the year and a half since then, God has restored all that we had lost and more.  We just paid cash for a beautiful new home in Conroe, Texas, more furniture and we owe nothing to anyone.  We even have a large bank account. 

“I feel that we went through that trial at that time so we can help folks going through difficult times now and also to prove to God that we were here to stay.  This verse really hit home today, “Because you have kept the word of My patience, I also kept you from the hour of temptation.”   God is faithful and true!”  Ron

“Corpus Christi”

For your information: The movie, Corpus Christi, is due to be released somewhere between June and August of 2009.  It is set to appear here in America later this year.  It is a disgusting film which depicts Yeshua and His disciples as homosexuals, truly a revolting mockery of our Lord.  Apparently some regions in Europe have banned the film.  Let us pray that true believers in Yeshua will allow their voices to be heard.  Let us pray that it be banned here in America.

  Susan Lanahan writes:  “I don’t know about you but I have found myself asking the Lord what my responsibility is in His Kingdom while in this “new world” we find ourselves living in.  I heard a quote on the radio today that went something like this, “We don’t lean back on our shovels and pray and wait for a hole to appear.  We still have to dig the hole while praying”.

“That kind of sums up what I believe I am called to do during this time.  While I am still a free American, I will use my liberty to proclaim Yeshua, to repent on behalf of myself and my nation, pray for God’s will to be done and the truth to be made known.  I will pray for our leaders, proclaim the truth, contact my representatives in Washington to acquire accountability, exercise my right to assemble in protest from time to time and vote.

“Most of all, I am being led to draw closer to God, to ask Him to fill my lamp with oil, to make my heart beat in tandem with His and to ask that I may work along side of Him in the field that He is working in … not off somewhere else doing my own thing.  I feel compelled to proclaim the truth and to proclaim Yeshua to a world gone mad, lost and grasping at straws.

“When I watched the evacuation of Gaza in 2005, I learned something that has stuck with me.  I prayed against the evacuation of land that belongs in every way to Israel.  I prayed for the U.S. to be wise and not push and pressure Israel to give up her land, but that is exactly what the U.S. did and reaped Hurricane Katrina, within hours of the last evacuation, as a result.  I won’t go in to it now but there are many striking parallels between the Gaza evacuations and New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

“At some point, before the evacuation of Gaza began, I remembered a Scripture that says, similar to Damascus, Gaza would be destroyed in a single day.  I began to think that perhaps God would save the lives of the Jews living in Gaza through this evacuation.  Maybe or maybe not!  However, the lesson that I learned personally was that even if God works a purpose in something that is done, it does not mean the persons responsible for making it happen are let off the hook.  They are still accountable before God.  In this case, the U.S. is still accountable for our rebellion and disobedience in pressuring Israel to give up her land.

“When I apply that lesson to what is happening now, even if God has a purpose in what is happening in the U.S. right now, I am still accountable before God to live in faith and obedience to what He has called me to do and to what He has entrusted to me in this free country.”

Messianic Jews Attacked in Israel

Recently a group of Messianic Jews who were passing out pamphlets in the central Israeli town of Rehovot were violently attacked by ultra-orthodox local residents.  Those who were the attackers said that they were outraged at the presence of “missionaries” in their town.  Many Israeli Jews view Messianic Jews as members of a foreign religion, and view their efforts to share the Gospel as an attempt to convert Jews to the “alien faith” of Christianity.  In truth, once a Jew accepts Yeshua as their Messiah, they become a completed Jew not a Christian.  The Messianic Jews who are living in Israel are under a lot of persecution and need our prayers.     

 Anne Morrison writes:  “Yesterday when I was reading an email from Israel, the Holy Spirit, in a flash, gave me insight into what is happening now.  He very clearly and rapidly impressed upon me “I AM removing all the props from Israel”. 

“I looked up props in the dictionary and it says, “To support by placing something under or against” and “To sustain and strengthen”.

“It looks like all the nations of the world, including the U.S., are turning against Israel and are preparing to “throw her under the bus” so to speak.  As intercessors we now need to pray that the people and leaders of Israel will turn wholeheartedly to the Almighty and trust Him to protect and keep Israel, and show Himself mighty on her behalf.  We must pray that the Israeli people will diligently begin to search for the Living God.

“As this works out in the nations of the world for Israel, it works out in the hearts of the believers.  He is calling us to look to Him alone for our protection and salvation.  He is purifying our hearts to make us holy so that we will be lights in the darkness, shining forth for His Glory.  He said that He would be glorified in the Earth, and He is our only hope!  He is removing the props in our lives, too, things that we have trusted in, idols of our hearts like money or another person or persons.  He is making it quite clear that He alone is our Savior and our soon coming King!”   Love, Anne

Stan Goodenough writes:  “America may think that, because she is the superpower, she can bully Israel into going along with whatever the U.S. considers is in its best interest.  As a matter of fact, there is only one Superpower, one Almighty Ruler of the Universe!”     

The Mother’s Act is Dead

Thank God that the U.S. Senate killed S3297, the Coburn Cloture Bill, which contained the Mother’s Act that I asked you all to pray about last month.  Let me just say that this bill was far worse than I realized when I put out the prayer alert.  Sixty votes were needed to close debate but they had only 52.  There were 40 votes against it.  

I am told that many of them wanted nothing to do with forcing pregnant women or women who have just given birth to be evaluated and possibly be prescribed psychiatric drugs or denied their right to take their newborn home with them.  Apparently they also considered the volume of faxes, emails, calls and letters.  I am told they were overwhelmed, especially when there had been no previous debate or public disclosure. They just don’t understand that the Almighty is the One who keeps us alert, watchful and informed!

Thank you all for your faithfulness in intercession. We must remain watchful though, for they will try again under the guise of something else. Some are desperate to see this become law.  

“Yahweh, they will all come to learn that You alone are the Most High God!  You alone are the  Supreme Ruler over all of the Earth. One day soon every knee will bow before You!”  Amen!

Mona McReynolds writes:  “God tells me that you are seeing a big difference everywhere you go.  He is letting you observe the “signs of the times”, the hearts of the people.  We cannot trust anyone in the flesh now.  There will be those who go to Heaven, but then there are those who will “overcome” and obtain crowns.  

“God is hiding things at present.  Like Jesus said, “to you it has been given to understand, but God has hidden these things from the wise.”  “There is a “time and season” for every purpose under Heaven, a time to be silent as many are right now.”  “Do not cast your pearls before swine.”  “A prudent man sees the trouble coming, and hides himself.”

“Again, God hides sacred things and plans to protect them and us.  God’s strategies are changing and we must change with them.  Scripture says “the children of this world are smarter (more clever) than the children of the light.” God is giving wisdom that will confound the wise, but also “appear” as worldly wisdom so that He can “hide” things and people “in plain sight.”  “Behold, I AM doing a new thing!” 

“Joseph was “hidden” in plain sight.  He looked like an Egyptian on the outside, but on the inside he was a Hebrew.  Moses looked like an Egyptian on the outside, but he was a Hebrew on the inside.  David looked like a crazy man on the outside, but on the inside he was a king.     (I Samuel 21:13)  “So he changed his behavior before them, pretended madness in their hands, scratched on the doors of the gate, and let his saliva fall down on his beard.”  Then Achish said to his servants, “Why have you brought this madman?” Had Saul not been trying to kill David, he would not have had to resort to these measures … We can criticize David for “not having  enough faith in God to preserve him”, but God hid David in the camp of the Philistines for a year and a half and built his warring skills and provided a safe haven for him and the people.  Notice though, God did not let David fight against his own people when the Philistines went up to war against Israel.  God knows how to protect His people from deliberately sinning.”

“God seems to hide His people away in deserts, in plain sight sometimes yet in obscurity, in the enemy territory (Egypt), in wildernesses, in caves, in arks, in lion’s dens, etc … in all kinds of places, until it is time for the Sons of God to be made manifest.”  Shalom, Mona

Marsha Burns writes:  “You have been challenged, stretched, and sometimes torn, but you can trust Me to release healing and restoration in your body, soul and spirit.  Come to that place of silence before Me where your soul no longer sounds a dissenting cry, and where emotional noise and mental clutter cease.  Be still. Release all worry, fear and everything that keeps you from exercising a strong and resolute faith that I have undertaken on your behalf, says the Lord. Your breakthrough is imminent!”

Psalm 62:5-6 “Let all that I am wait quietly before God for my hope is in Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.”  

Home: No Place for a Bible Study

San Diego, CA: A pastor and his wife have been interrogated by local officials over a weekly Bible Study which they hold in their home for fifteen people.  The county is demanding that they obtain a $10,000 permit in order to host their friends. They were told that if they do not purchase the permit and continue to hold Bible Studies in their home, they will be charged escalating fines and if they don’t pay those fines, “It will get ugly”.   They need our prayers!

Christians Arrested by Hostile Police

Dayton, OH: Five Christian evangelists with Faithful School of Evangelism were arrested while sharing the Biblical message of sexual purity and morality on the public campus of Sinclair Community College. Concerns are continuing to mount over the shocking and troubling   behavior of the police officer who lashed out at the five who had gathered peacefully to conduct an important Gospel outreach.  They were witnessing one on one when a crowd began to gather and then they were arrested.  They were cited for passing out pamphlets which presented the Gospel and holding a sign which read, “Christ died for you, will you live for Him?”

Short Term Missions

Janet Wilker is on assignment in the Ukraine now and will be traveling on to Poland as well.           Janet Radford goes on assignment to Singapore, in June, and Paul & Joane Gelep will be taking a team in to Israel in July.  Pastor Sadie of Jesus Compassion Ministries is preparing to take a team to Jamaica in September.   

Let us keep Jan and Janet well covered in prayer as they go in His Name, and begin to lay a good foundation of prayer under Paul & Joane’s trip in July and Pastor Sadie’s trip in September.    

Gathering Together Unto Him

Pastors Lee & Rita Hensler, owners of The Chrisitian Way, will be hosting a Messianic Gathering at the Corbin Center for Technology & Community Activities Building in Corbin, Kentucky. My Heart to Yours

I just want to thank all of you who have taken the time to call, email or write letters the past three months.  I have been so blessed and encouraged by all of your testimonies and other things which you have shared.  Now, until next time: Give thanks to the Lord for He is good!  Proclaim His greatness!  Know that His love endures forever!
