June, 2007
Greetings!
I pray that this newsletter finds you all well and praising the Lord! Thank you so much for all of your encouraging letters, emails and phone calls. I am so grateful!
This newsletter is late again, because I have been traveling in ministry. I am only home for four days now, and then I will be back out on the road for the balance of the month. I have received a number of phone calls asking if I had forgotten to send the newsletter, two calls from folks who were upset with me because I had not returned their phone calls, and emails from some who were upset because emails they had tried to send me were refused.
Please know when the newsletter is late it is because I am on the road with no quiet time to get alone with the Lord to find out what He wants to say. Also, AT&T will only hold my voice mail messages for five days. If I am gone more than five days, I do not know that you have called, so please try again. I do love hearing from you. As far as the emails are concerned, please know that I am not the one who refuses your emails. It is the server who returns them to you, usually because the box is full. I would never refuse to receive any of your emails. I love speaking with you, and hearing what is on your heart, please know that and bear with me, for I do the best that I can when I am traveling.
In the last newsletter I had made the remark that I have always tried to be faithful in proclaiming Yahweh’s Truths, everywhere He sends me, even in the midst of great opposition, because I do not want anyone’s blood on my hands. Let me tell you that this remark upset one brother to the degree that I feel a real need to share just what the Word of God says about this.
First of all please know that it is a serious matter to be called as a Watchman on the Walls, for the destiny of precious souls is at stake. Ezekiel 3:17-21 reads: “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the House of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me. When I say to the wicked, “You shall surely die, and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked ways, he shall die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your soul.”
“Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning. He shall die in his sins, and his righteousness, which he has done, shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. Nevertheless, if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you shall have delivered your soul.”
Ezekiel 33:2-9 reads: “When I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning and the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, but he did not take warning, his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning shall save his own life.”
“But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.”
The Lord’s watchman must be alert to every opportunity and must not be afraid to sound the alarm. False watchmen are unfaithful! (Isaiah 56:10-12). They will have much to answer for at the judgment.
Think about what Paul said: “I am innocent of the blood of all men, for I have not hesitated to declare to you the whole counsel of God.” (Acts 20:26-27).
Israel’s Journey in Three Stages
Everywhere I go I am fielding so many questions about our desert / wilderness times. No one likes to spend time in the wilderness, but they don’t realize how necessary it truly is.
Let us think about Israel in Egypt for there she is symbolic of the believer who is occupied with the “things of the world”. If we look at Israel in the desert, we see that she is symbolic of the believer who is occupied with the “self life”. When we look at Israel in Canaan she is symbolic of the believer “wholly occupied with the things of God” or the God life.
The Lord first brings us out of the world, and then He leads us through the wilderness as He is working to set us free of the world. He sets us free of all of self’s desires and conveniences, in fact, free of all bondages, and then He leads us in to a life that is wholly consecrated unto Him.
First He works for us as His Spirit draws us to salvation, and then He works in us, setting us free and preparing us. Finally, He is able to work through us to minister to others.
Purposes of Wilderness Training
The people had to experience God’s power as He led them through the Red Sea, not around it. By opening the Red Sea for them, He revealed His tremendous power, so they would be able to trust Him for everything they would need in the future. He does the very same thing with us as He leads us through one trial and time of testing after the other. As He leads us through each one, we soon learn that we can trust Him with our very lives. His Word becomes real: “He will never leave us nor forsake us”.
As the waters closed in on their enemies, the Egyptians, they recognized the awesome power of Almighty God! He destroyed their enemies!
The wilderness is a very precious place to the Lord for He has us all to Himself. As He leads us through the wilderness, we are learning His will and His ways. He is teaching us to set our priorities straight. We are learning to abide in Him, looking to Him for all provision and grateful for what He provides. In so doing we are humbled and completely separated unto the Lord. He removes everyone and everything that would distract us or hinder us in our growth and maturity in Him. He shows us things about ourselves we had never seen or realized. He points out our motives for doing various things. By the time we come to the end of our wilderness journey, ready for service, we will be able to recognize His voice, and we will truly be able to say, “I know God!”
My advice to everyone is make the best use of your time while you are in that quiet place, separated unto Him, for you will never know another time like it once you are released in to service. Enjoy your time with Him! Feast on His Word, allowing His Spirit to expound on it for you. If you make the best use of your time in the wilderness, you will know His voice, or His leading, when He speaks to you in the future. Also, when you have need of a specific passage of Scripture, His Spirit will recall it for you. You will know that no matter where you might be or what your set of circumstances might be, you are in His Presence. He is in us! He is with us! He is Emmanuel! Praise His Holy Name!
God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage!

The Standing of the Intercessor
“Intercessor, it’s not about what you know, or what words you use, or how many words you say, but it is all about your relationship with Me. Sometimes you will merely stand with Me! Other times you will speak My Word with shouted boldness, or whispered passion, or a single tear. Your eyes, your heart, this is what I respond to.
“Remember Esther, and know that I have given you My scepter. We wield it together, because I know your heart! You will be shown things, people and nations to pray for, places to speak blessing, change or life. You will say, “But who am I to be given this responsibility?”
“My answer is: “You are Mine. I trust you with much because you have given Me much. So many times you have passionately yielded yourself to Me. This is what I treasure! This is what I will honor! I hold your heart in Mine! Our hearts are one!” Christine Hicks
Urgent Call to Prayer
The Lord has spoken to Mylinda Pearson of Hineini Ministries, commissioning her to rent space and call together Intercessors who are willing and able to gather to pray for our school children and school systems prior to the beginning of the new school year. I don’t believe that I have to tell anyone that all of our children are being targeted.
Mylinda has rented space for the Gathering at Days Inn, (off I-75), at 7385 Hannover Parkway North, Stockbridge, GA. 30281. Telephone: (770) 507-4440. The Gathering will be held Saturday, July 21st, from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. There will be a break for lunch from 11:00 until 12:00. There are several restaurants close by, and should you want to spend the night, their room rates are $75.00 per night. She hopes to see you there!
Two Attorneys Attempting to Bring Prayer Back in to Our Schools
A legal opinion letter has been sent to San Diego’s Board of Education by two attorneys on behalf of Pacific Justice Institute, a legal group that protects religious freedom.
In the letter, Pete Lepiscopo and former State Senator Bill Morrow argued for rights for Christian and Jewish students in the school system since a group of Muslim students had already been given the right earlier. Should the School District agree, it will be a large victory toward getting prayer back in to public education settings.
These attorneys seized the opportunity when they saw that Carver Elementary in San Diego allowed Muslim students to pray several times a day facing Mecca. They argue that the same benefits should be offered to Christian and Jewish students, or the policy will be discriminatory and against religious equality. (Christian Post)
What Federal ‘Thought’ Police Have in Mind For Us!
Advocates of a sweeping “Hate Crimes” law are on the verge of victory in the US Congress, with massive funding from the homosexual lobby. These advocates are moving one step closer to the day when the Federal Government will be able to investigate and punish politically incorrect speech and thoughts.
In case you think that it cannot happen here, let me remind you of a small group of Christians, who are now known as the “Philidelphia 11”. They were arrested and spent a night in jail because they were preaching the Gospel on the same grounds where a “gay pride” event was taking place. They were charged with a “hate crime” under Pennsylvania Law. Though the case was ultimately dismissed, the Christians had no support from the ACLU or any other self-described champions of free speech. They only protect the First Amendment rights of those whom they agree with.
Hate Crimes laws now threaten free speech and religious liberty nation wide. They have the potential to shut down congregations and send pastors to prison for simply speaking specific passages of the Word of God. If Hate Crimes laws proliferate, the freedom to speak one’s mind will be limited to those who celebrate and promote homosexuality. (Family Research Council).

Albany, Georgia – A local Church youth group was returning from an outing and decided to stop to eat at Steak ‘n Shake in Albany. There were a dozen or more teens about 16 years old and several adults with them. The students were at one long table and the adults at another. When everyone had received their food, one of the teens stood up and asked the rest of the teens to get quiet so they could bless the food. The teenager went on to say the blessing over their food. Several other customers in the restaurant bowed their heads and prayed as well.
As soon as the young man finished saying the blessing over their food, the manager of Steak ‘n Shake came over to the tables. She began to lecture the teen who had prayed on the restaurant policy, informing him that the practice of public prayer in their restaurants was illegal. She put her finger in his face and told him that if it was done again they would have to leave the premises.
Two of the adults walked to the manager’s side and told her that she didn’t need to be attacking their teenagers. After the manager left the tables, some of the waitresses told the teens, and the adults with them, that they supported their right to pray over their food. Needless to say this group has decided to spend their money elsewhere and rightfully so.
Ellisville, MS – After I finished ministering in a congregation there this past Sunday, a man and woman came up to me to tell me that they had been talking with another couple in Wal Mart, sharing all about the goodness of the Lord. Suddenly a supervisor came over to them and told them that Wal Mart was for shopping, not for talking about Jesus! Unlike the others, they stood their ground and told the supervisor in no uncertain terms that they will talk about Jesus wherever they go! With that they all turned and walked away from her. PTL!!!
Albemarle, VA – Teachers in the Albemarle, Virginia School District are rebelling at being required to distribute flyers for an Atheist Summer Camp. The flyers advertise Camp Quest, billed as “The first residential summer camp in the history of the United States for the children of atheists, freethinkers, humanists, and ‘brights’ who hold to a naturalistic, not a supernatural, life-stance.”
Teachers, who are concerned that they will be seen by parents as endorsing atheism, are calling the materials ‘disgusting’ and ‘propagandistic’. They are refusing to distribute them in their classrooms as is required by an administrative directive. This puts them at risk of disciplinary action.
Baltimore, MD – The Islamic Society of Baltimore recently received a $15,000 grant from the Department of Homeland Security to upgrade their security system.
Dearborn, MI – We’ve all heard about the need for separation of Church and State when a Christian wants to pray at school, now what about the separation of Mosque and State?
The University of Michigan has just recently installed foot baths in two locations for the Muslim students to wash before their prayers on school property, all to the tune of $54,000 of tax payer dollars. The same is also being done at Boston University, Cal State-Fullerton, University of Wisconsin – Madison, and Washington University of St. Louis. I’ve not seen the price tags on those yet.
I ask you, “When will America wake up? When will we say, “Enough is enough?”
Jerusalem, Israel – A half year has passed and traditional elements in Jerusalem are gearing up for another fight against another homosexual parade in the Holy City. The police announced their approval of the parade, which is scheduled for next month. A meeting was held in the home of the head of the Eidah Hareidit court, Rabbi Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss, who said, “Tell Public Security Minister Avi Dichter that he had better build another ten jails to hold all the protestors. This will be a real war.”
The Ministry of Tourism is starting a controversial new campaign to draw young tourists to Israel. It’s called “Jerusalem in the Pink”. Their promotional poster shows two Religious gay men with knitted kipot on their heads, hugging each other with the Old City Walls of Jerusalem in the background. Lord, have mercy!
US/EU – Just recently Angela Merkel, President of the European Union, and President George W. Bush have agreed to set up an “economic council” to move ahead with regular convergence in some 40 areas, including intellectual property, financial services, business takeovers, and open skies. Anyone will be able to fly in to airports anywhere in Europe and America without passports and visas.
The American dollar may soon be replaced by the ‘amero’, which is a suggested new currency similar to the ‘euro’. This will allow Canada, the US and Mexico to move forward a little faster toward a North American Community, a union similar to the EU. Borders will be wide open, so I guess that will solve the illegal immigration problem, won’t it? Have you ever wondered why the citizens of the US have never been given the opportunity to vote on any of this? That won’t happen because they (US, EU, & UN) are ram-roding ‘One World Government’ in to place very rapidly. And along with ‘One World Government’ comes ‘One World Religion’.
Thank God we have all read the end of the Book. They will all one day bow their knee to the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords. Glory to His Holy Name! Hallelujah!
Deception!
I have been concerned for quite some time as I watch all of the pretension among many of the Presidential Candidates. All of a sudden some of them are speaking about their ‘faith’ when in truth they detest Christianity and true Christians and all that we stand for. One evening as I was praying about this, the Lord brought back to my remembrance a word that Debbie Robinson had shared with me shortly after the 2004 election. I called her and asked if I could share it here. It reads: “I hear in the Spirit, the Lord speaking to me saying that since the outcome of the Presidential Election (November 2, 2004) was determined by prayer and established on Christian values that shocked and amazed the nations, that this will be used by Satan to bring about future deception. Those who have not had their senses exercised to discern Satan’s craftiness and cunningness will be drawn away from the Truth and will believe a lie.
“In this coming year we must remain sober, vigilant and ever watchful on the Wall of Intercession for one another, and for our nation, to continually sound the alarm as we hear from the Lord. We must continue to pray for Israel, never letting up or letting go of our call to pray for her.
“The Father wants to take us deeper in to the Truth of His Word than we’ve ever been. So many are not set free yet because they have not come to the Knowledge of the Truth. There is so much the Father wants to reveal to the prophets in these End Times, but we are not yet ready for such revelations. Those who are willing to sacrifice all for the sake of the Gospel shall be prepared and processed by the Holy Spirit. Their eyes and ears will be opened, and their resounding voices shall be heard far and wide.”

Missions – Pastor Sadie Connor and Pastor Vernice Graves will be leaving for Trinidad in July. Leona Grable will be leaving with a team for Guatemala early in September. Let us all begin to lay a solid foundation of prayer under both these mission trips so that all of His plans and purposes will be accomplished and His Holy Name will be glorified.
Feast of Tabernacles
Let us all begin to make plans now to celebrate the prophetic Feast of Tabernacles this October. Many of us will be participating in the celebration which will be held October 5th through the 7th at the Macon City Auditorium in Macon, Georgia. Paul Wilbur will be leading worship again this year. Theme: “The Spirit and the Bride Say “Come”!
This Feast will be a foretaste of all that is to come when we will be forever with the Lord!
Thank you – for supporting us in prayer as you do, and also with your finances. We so appreciate all you do, especially since I am being required to travel so much more now, and gasoline has become so expensive. If you need additional copies of the newsletters you may print them out from the website: www.fairhavensmissions.org. or you may call me at (912) 265-0019. I am always happy to hear from you.
Till next time, Trust in the conviction and confidence that God will fulfill His plan, His way, on His timetable, for His glory. Love in Yeshua, Myrna
