Greetings from Murrysville,

I would love to say that Spring has sprung, but I just finished sweeping snow off my car and I’m chilled so we’ll save that greeting for another time.  I’m not complaining either because I see parts of our country under water, parts in drought and parts under a blizzard warning.  So many to pray for! Oh that this country would repent and turn back to the Almighty! 

I was so encouraged this past weekend for I didn’t have to travel, and so I was able to go with Donna to the congregation she attends. On the door outside the sanctuary was a sign saying, “Enter in a prayerful attitude!”  As we entered everyone was in serious prayer, and when the congregation began corporate worship, it was a steady stream of very powerful intercession from beginning to end.  So anointed!  So sincere! The Presence of God so sweet, so precious!      

As we worshipped, sin was acknowledged as well as the need for personal and national repentance. Hearts in one accord so thankful for the cross and the precious blood shed upon that cross, crying out to Abba, asking for forgiveness and pleading with Him to forgive our sins and heal our land.  Everyone acknowledging that He and He alone can do so! At one point during the service Donna was given a vision of the darkness rolling in, but being pushed back by our corporate intercession. In a dark area, this congregation is truly a light focused on Him!

Later that evening when I was all alone, I was praying for that congregation and telling Abba that it is my heart’s desire to see hands lifted to Him in heart rending worship in every nation of the world, including our own. Honestly, it just breaks my heart to see Him rejected time and again in all of the nations, especially our own.

I heard the Lord say very softly, “Be still and know that I AM God!”  “Just rest in Me!  I AM with you! I AM with My people! I AM your refuge and strength!  I AM your fortress! In time I will be honored by every nation!  In time I will be honored throughout the world! In time you will see it! Just rest in Me!  I AM that I AM!”

Barbara Coomer recently wrote in response to some of the warnings of judgment that I recently sent out. She said, “We have left the Lord, our God, to follow after other gods, wealth, personal gain and position.  We will be punished severely!  There are so few churches that preach Jesus Christ and His shed blood as the only way to salvation.  We have so adulterated the Gospel that it is unrecognizable.  In an effort not to offend man, we have offended the Lord God Almighty!  I have had the unction to begin to stockpile provisions for some time now.  David Wilkerson’s warning was a definite confirmation.  As Christians who have not bowed their knees to Baal, it is our duty to humble ourselves and pray constantly for a swift and thorough purging of the sins of our nation with the restoration of God as our leader and ruler of all.  I know in my heart that it is coming.  We can only pray that it will be done swiftly.  Hold fast, and pray hard.  God bless you and keep you.”  Barbara

Deceptive Books

There are some books that I have received numerous complaints about and finally the Lord has asked me to address them in this newsletter.  I had written about the books, “Conversations with God” and “Conversations with God for Teens” some time ago, but new people join this list every month.  At any rate, beware of these two books written by Neil Walsh.  The titles of the books are meant to fool you, and the fact that they have been on the New York Times Best Sellers list has not been helpful either.  You see, the author purports to answer various questions from children using the “Voice of God” however the answers he gives are not at all Bible based, in fact, contrary to Scripture.  Let me give you a couple of for instances:

A girl asked, “Why am I a lesbian?”  The author answered, “Because of genetics, just as you were born right handed, with blue eyes”.  Then he tells her to go out and celebrate her differences.

Another girl asked, “I am living with my boyfriend.  My parents say that I should marry him because I am living in sin.  Should I marry him?”   The author’s reply is, “Who are you sinning against?  Not me, because you have done nothing wrong.”

Another question was about God’s forgiveness of sin.  The author’s reply, “I do not forgive anyone because there is nothing to forgive.  There is no such thing as right or wrong, and that is what I have been trying to tell everyone.  Do not judge people.  People have chosen to judge one another and that is wrong because the rule is: “Judge not lest you be judged!” 

The list goes on and these books are being sold to school children (The Scholastic Book Club) so we need to be aware.  Let us teach the Word of God to our children so they won’t be deceived.

The other book that I have received numerous questions and complaints about is “The Shack”.  The last question came from Meagan and what she read of the book left her completely undone.  So I asked her to share her experience as she tried to read the book.  Hear her heart as she shares:

“There I was just walking through the store looking for a book to read. I had my heart set on buying a different one than I chose.  Something about it seemed to grab my attention.  I had never heard of “The Shack” before.  I read the back cover and was intrigued.  Then I saw well known Christians writing rave reviews about how it changed them and I wondered how I hadn’t heard of it before.  The fact that it was on the #1 Best Seller list finally sold me.  I loved “90 Minutes in Heaven” by Don Piper and was thinking it would have a similar God experience, so I purchased it. 

“The beginning hooked me.  The main character, MacKenzie, or Mack, as he is referred to in the book, receives a note from God?  Interesting!  Then, it carries on with the story of his daughter’s murder that appears to have occurred in the shack, which brought tears to my eyes. I didn’t want to stop reading. That is until the book took a sudden twist.  Mack decides upon receiving the note that God will be waiting for him to return to the shack.  When he arrives, there was only an empty shack with all of his sad memories facing him, so he began to cry out to God.  It is here that you are experiencing his true pain, and then all of a sudden the shack is transformed into a beautiful scene. The house appears restored and you see light lift off the page.  Mack decides to go to the door and when he knocks, a large African American woman answers. Behind her is an Asian woman and a Middle Eastern man dressed like a laborer.  As you continue to read it is pointed out that the first woman is God, the Asian woman is the Holy Spirit and the man is Jesus.

“I have to say that this left me unsettled.  I really couldn’t wrap my head around it. It is explained in the book why these three take on these forms and names, but it left me very confused. And so continues the very intricate conversations between the “Trinity” of sorts and Mack.  Some things that jumped out at me were the fact that God knows our every thought, but when MacKenzie spoke with her, it appeared as though she was hearing it for the first time. Another mention is that when you are face to face with God, like any Biblical story, you are awe struck, blinded by light, and have a true understanding of His Holiness.  However, MacKenzie does not have that same effect.  In fact, he at times is quite curt and frank about his thoughts and feelings toward God.  He even makes mention to Jesus that he thought he would be better looking.

“This is where I stopped!  I was unsettled enough!  I put the book down!  The next day I decided to call my grandmother and in our conversation, along with an amazingly in-depth review which I later read online, I realized that I could not continue to read the book.  Here I was thinking that this was a true account of someone’s life, but it is a fictional story.  It was too much for me, and I believe that God is sending out His messengers to say loud and clear that this is not a book from Him.  It is very New Age! 

“I would like to encourage you to read the review, “Norman Geisler Takes “The Shack” to the Woodshed” online. It is posted by David Wheaton. It really gave me a lot of insight.”                 Blessings, Meagan                  

Note:  Confusion comes first to make the way for deception to walk right in.  It is so subtle!      

Pastor Sue West sends out a daily devotional via email each day and I have been so blessed by them.  I save them, and as the Lord leads, I try to include one in each newsletter.  If you would like to receive them on a daily basis just email her at swest4131@charter.net .

She writes, “I truly believe God wants to establish a disciplined prayer life in the lives of His children. The Lord has many things to speak to us so we will know the right direction and the right course of action to take in the coming days. 

“One thing that I’ve learned is that prayer is not always making requests and sealing our prayer time in the name of Jesus, then running off about our own business.  Prayer is so much more than simply making requests, although that is part of it.   Sometimes during prayer He will call us to just sit in silence and wait for Him to speak to us.  In prayer, and in silence is when we are changed inwardly from glory to glory. It is during those quiet times that He imparts to us His very own nature and fills us with the fullness of the Holy Spirit, thereby equipping us to handle more than we could ever imagine.  The hidden treasures that are imparted to us in our union with Him are incomparable to any other pleasure we have or ever will have.

“Often times we are faced with decisions and the outcome of that decision could have a long term effect on our spiritual lives.  It is better to first take that decision to God in prayer than to act haphazardly and reap the fruits of carelessness.  Oh what needless pain many of us could have avoided if we would have first taken it to the Lord.  Nevertheless, our Lord in His great mercy toward us will take those haphazard decisions we have made in the past and turn them around to work all things together for our good if we will but turn to Him. 

“Prayer should be as necessary as the air we breathe, for it is in that communion with our Father that we receive a life-giving flow that equips us to live strong, victorious, overcoming Christian lives.” 

Isaiah 30:15 “For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest shall ye be saved.  In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”

Isaiah 32:17 “And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.”

Isaiah 32:18 “And My people shall dwell in a peaceful habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.”  God Bless, Sue

Debbie Robinson writes, “I have felt in my spirit for some time now that we are in a time when the Word of the Lord needs to be poured out in every form of media, written, spoken, etc. because of the growing deception covering the globe telling us there are other ways to God besides Jesus.  I feel that it is coming down to how much of the Word of God we have in us that will make the difference in how strong / firm of a stand we can make in the end.  We need to be so full of the Word of God that we can stand like Stephen when he was being stoned. Not only do we need to know what the Word of God says, but what it means.  No religion, no man’s traditions or doctrines, but the pure infallible Word of God, untainted and undiluted! I have so appreciated all your work and dedication in sending out the newsletter, keeping us well informed about important things.  Love & Shalom, Debbie

Hear & Prepare!

Daniel Bohler writes:  “The Spirit of God moved upon me tonight and said the season of great accidents is at hand.  Accidents of such a magnitude that will be very frightening will now begin in many places and progressively get worse.  He said nuclear accidents, and I saw mushroom clouds, oil storage accidents, big airline accidents, ships at sea accidents, accidents in factories, and in the every-day work place.  There will be accidents in government buildings as well as commercial buildings.  Military accidents will increase greater than ever.  These things will happen all over the world and more insurance companies will go broke.  Search and Rescue Medical Groups and Hospitals will be stretched to their limits.  College and Schools will no longer be exempt.  It was as if people began to lose control of themselves and were unable to complete simple tasks of safety procedures as usual.       

“I began to see a wave of small to midsize earthquakes across the globe in many nations as well as in the United States.  I saw many power outages and an increase in volcanic activity in several places.  I saw damns cracking.  I began to see tidal waves.  It was a terrible feeling, awful to see and feel the helplessness of the people. I saw hundreds of stores empty of food.  Fresh water was hard to find!  It was at times like the Heavens would change colors right before my eyes and recoil and come back normal for a while and then back into convulsions. This is hard to explain, as I broke out into a cold sweat, I cried, “Help us Oh Lord!”  It seems at times that the tornado activity was unexplainable and the floods just did not want to stop, as hurricanes began to emerge one right after another. 

“I could see hundreds of Christians gathering to pray, while others were trying to help in different places with whatever surplus goods they had.  Government agencies were unable to cope with the gigantic problems that seemed to progressively accelerate.  Then the scene changed and we moved in to Winter time. Great cold!  Shortage of heating oil and gas! There were more electrical power failures and people were bundled up trying to keep warm.  I could go on, but I don’t think I can take writing any more.  It is obvious from what has been happening the last many years that we are stepping into times of great trouble. 

“Cry out to God!  Don’t take Him for granted!  I am begging you!  I am a watchman!  I have to warn you! If you will read Ezekiel 33 you will understand why I must speak what the Lord has given me. 

“Please don’t write accusatory letters saying I am trying to scare people.  This is real!  My wife and I have lived through some of this.  When God told us to go in to the eye of the storm to warn people in Florida, right after we left our hotel it was wiped off the face of the earth by a hurricane.  As we went to another city to warn them the hurricane came straight at us and suddenly turned.  God spared our lives, as we watched an entire city wiped out (Punto Gorda, Florida).  We lived through the 1993 Midwest floods as we watched the waters go up to the second stories of buildings in the Kansas City, MO area.  We have lived many days without electricity in the past.  This is not something to laugh about.  What I just saw as a seer is extraordinary fearful.  Take this warning seriously!  Pray the 91^st Psalm constantly and live in the Presence of God.”    D.B.         

Note:  The Lord has asked me to include the vision that Daniel was given because there is nothing in this that all the rest of us collectively have not seen or heard.  I know this man’s track record.  He is a Watchman of the Lord.  I also know that some of us have been terribly burdened in weeping and travail over what is about to come upon us and the warnings are coming closer and closer together and with greater intensity. I understand the burden upon Daniel as he had to share this.  So please get alone with God, cry out to Him, worship Him, listen to Him and then rest in Him.  He will prepare and lead each one of us through the difficult days ahead.  

Abba has prepared a people for these End Times.  They have been through the fire many times over and have been found to be faithful and true.  They are no longer tied to this world or worldly things.  They are willing to give up everything to go where He wants them to go, speak what He tells them to speak and do what He tells them to do, regardless of the consequences.  They are strong in faith because of all they have been through!  They will stand! People will be drawn to them as though they were being drawn to magnets!  They will radiate the love and the light of the Lord. He will make sure they are provided for as they go in His Name and turn many back to the Lord.  Please pray for these brothers and sisters!   

Short Term Missions

Pastors Lou and Karen Saparito have returned from Israel and thank all of you for covering their mission in prayer. Karen said to me, “It was everything you said it would be and oh so much more!”

Please pray for Chris Hazell through this next year. He will be off on assignment and for security purposes I cannot tell you more. Just pray that he will be the salt and light Abba needs him to be in a place where the spiritual warfare will be great!

My Heart to Yours

In the last newsletter I shared with you that the Lord has led me to ask all of you to either write,  email or call me and let me know that you are receiving the newsletters and that you wish to continue to receive them.  If you no longer want to receive them, please let me know that as well.  myrnamiddleton@yahoo.com   or  (724) 325-9131.   

 We are to share this in three newsletters.  We shared it last month, and we are sharing it this month.  We will share with you again next month and after that, if we have not heard from you, we will remove your name from the mailing list. We are cleaning up our data base. 

Please know that this is NOT an appeal for money!  I don’t do that for I made a covenant with Abba in 1975 and I have not and will not break it.  We just simply want to be good stewards of all that He gives us to work with.  We want to make sure that they are not going to the dead letter office somewhere USA. 

I really want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have already taken the time to write, email or call me.  Such immediate response surprised me!  Honestly, I have been so blessed hearing from you and so thankful for your encouragement.   I really had no idea how many different ways that Abba was using the newsletters, nor did I have any idea as to how far and wide they are traveling.  It was a tremendous blessing to hear all of the testimonies. To God be the glory for great things He has done.   

I do feel a need to share with you that we will continue to send out the newsletters as long as we can.  Keep in mind, though, that this present administration is bound and determined to silence the voices of Abba’s children.  They are in the process of writing many new rules and regulations for us, some I have already seen, so if it ever comes to the place where we would have to compromise our faith or the truth in order to send out a newsletter we will not do that.  The newsletters will stop, for we will not compromise our position in Christ under any circumstances.  I pray that you all understand that!  Meanwhile we will keep on keeping on!

The Spring Feasts of the Lord

April 8^th is the eve of Passover, which begins Abba’s Biblical calendar.  Passover is God’s appointed time to celebrate Yeshua (Jesus).  We celebrate His death on the Feast of Passover, His burial on the

Feast of Unleavened Bread and His resurrection on The Feast of First Fruits!  Yeshua, the Passover Lamb!  Have a wonderfully blessed holiday season.
