Wintry Greetings,

I don’t know what the weather is like where you are, but here it is a dark, dreary, cold and blustery day.  I’ve seen enough ice and snow to last me for the rest of my life time!  Needless to say I am looking forward to Spring and a bit of sunshine!

Nevertheless, it has been wonderful to be based so close to family once again.  I don’t know where Abba will send me when my work in this region is finished, but I’ll always be grateful for this time that He has given me to be so close to family. They are just about a half an hour away, and they have been so helpful and hospitable.  I am so grateful!

I have been hearing from so many of you that Abba is doing an awesome work of healing and restoration within your families.  I can recall several years ago when He told me that during this time of transition it would be His desire to do such a complete work of healing within all of His people, body, soul and spirit, even to broken relationships, that when the time comes, and He gives the signal for each one to move out with Him, they will be able to do so in strength and power with nothing from the past to hinder them.  Everything will have been put under the blood.  The prodigals will have come home!  Hallelu Yah!  It is happening!

I have had calls recently from two intercessors who have received a call from Abba to leave everyone and everything behind and follow Him in to a travelling ministry, trusting Him to lead them and provide for them one day at a time.  Both of them were told to call me and share their call with me for I would understand the call and be able to expound on it for them.  Both of them were feeling discouraged by   their families and friends who did not seem to understand, or want to understand, that such a calling could be for today.

Abba is beginning to move many of His people around right now for various purposes.  Many who have been on the front lines for quite some time are being called to “Come away with Me to a quiet place where we can be alone and REST!”

Dark Times are Coming!

“Dark times are coming, very dark!  You will be held in My Pavillion, in the secret place.  You will watch as the disobedient are brought to repentance.  The pain will be great, but so will the harvest.  I can no longer stand the compromise!  My children look just like the enemy’s children.  I won’t have it!  I long for relationship with them.  I want to hold them and love them but they push Me away, they are too busy for Me. When I take away their toys and cut off their resources, many will come back to Me in godly sorrow.  Many will be bitter with Me and shake their fists at Heaven accusing Me of embarrassing them, telling Me it makes Me look bad, trying to manipulate Me.

“I will bring down the haughty and exalt the humble! The stiff-necked, self-built, powerhouse bullies who claim Me, but their hearts are far from Me, will fall hard. Many will be in My intensive care unit for months, some will die there.  Very few will understand and fulfill their destinies in Me. I know who they are and they delight MY heart even now.  Some will receive wisdom and understanding quickly, but most will take time to change wrong mindsets. I will be glorified one way or another. They choose the route, easy or hard.  In MY compassion and love I AM with them every step of the way.

“Many believe a lie instead of looking at My Word and being led by My Spirit. They listen to deceived pastors, teachers and evangelists, whom I hold at higher accountability.  Some have gone so far as to make their own gods.  They have painted Me and made me in to some kind of mushy-do-gooder who would never judge or condemn anything or anyone.  They tell My people “there is no wrong,” “all is well,” “live and let live.” Who do they think they are? They pollute the truth!  My Written Word Stands Forever! None of it is negotiable!  I mean exactly what I say!  Sin is sin!

“I AM raising up teachers, preachers and evangelists who will not compromise My Word, but will preach the truth!  They are not afraid to preach judgment!  Yes, I love and I AM full of mercy and compassion, but I AM a righteous judge, too!  I AM bringing down My gauntlet! The sheep will scatter!  Those who love Me will not be offended by Me, but will seek Me with contrite hearts.  I will hear from Heaven and answer their cries!  Be prepared for this will be a long journey and the spiritual needs will be great. I have many catchers in place to disciple.  I will strengthen their arms so they don’t grow weary.  I will provide!

“I love you, precious one. You will not be lost!  I have a place for you! You are being trained!  You will see My power increase in those who are called to disciple. Signs and wonders will follow!

“Some will steal My glory and lift themselves up.  Many of these I will take out early.  They must not touch My glory or they will die!  I will no longer turn away and sigh!  As the battle increases, My standards will be raised higher. As My standard is raised, so will My expectations be higher. I will no longer tolerate pride in My leaders!  If they will not walk in humility, they will not walk at all!  I will cripple them and cast them aside.  I will no longer tolerate the mixture, the pollution.  A new work has begun.  My will be done!”   Louise Eusterman  2/9/09

Exposing Children to Unapproved Religious Activities?

Just recently a California counselor with nearly two decades of experience with foster children was suspended after taking four teens on an approved day long outing.  The reason for the suspension is unbelievable!  It seems that while they were having lunch at the beach, a ‘Surf Jam’ was taking place at the Huntington Beach Pier, and the children heard about ten minutes of Christian music.

After the outing, the counselor was ordered into a “disciplinary meeting” that focused on the inappropriateness of Christian music.  A short time later she was suspended for six weeks for “exposing children to unapproved religious activities”.  Pacific Justice Institute is representing the counselor in a law suit to recover the financial losses from the suspension and vindicate her constitutional rights.  Let us pray for this counselor for what happened to her was not just insane, but unjust as well.

Note:  I have also received a number of articles about nurses being reprimanded or suspended for praying with patients, as well as one school receptionist who was fired when her daughter was caught speaking with another child about God.  There is no question about it, we are being targeted, and it’s only just begun!

This Is Priceless!

I am dedicating this to all of our brothers and sisters who are teachers.  Recently a sister in the Lord filled out an application and was interviewed as a teaching prospect.  After the interview she said, “Let me see if I’ve got this right!  You want me to go into that room with all those kids, correct their disruptive behavior, observe them for signs of abuse, monitor their dress habits, censor their T-shirt messages and instill in them a love for learning.

“You want me to check their back-packs for weapons, wage war on drugs and sexually transmitted diseases, and raise their sense of self-esteem and personal pride.

“You want me to teach them patriotism and good citizenship, sportsmanship and fair play, and how to register to vote, balance a check book, and apply for a job.

“You want me to check their heads for lice, recognize signs of anti-social behavior, and make sure that they all pass the state exams.

“You want me to provide them with a piece of chalk, a blackboard, a bulletin board, a few books, a big smile, and a starting salary that qualifies me for food stamps.  You want me to do all this and then you tell me, I CAN’T PRAY?”  Beatrice

“The Just Shall Live by Faith”                                                                                                 “For by Grace are We Saved Through Faith”                                                            “Now Faith is the Substance of Things Not Seen”

The Scriptures contain numerous statements concerning faith.  The shelves of bookstores are full of books about faith.  Many incidences, miracles and healings in the Bible denote faith without even using the word ‘faith’.

“To Every Man is Given a Measure of Faith”

The Scriptures tell us that we can grow our faith by hearing the Word of God.  With all the evidences of faith in Scripture I wonder why so many of us walk in doubt and unbelief when times of trial come upon us.  Is it that we fail to believe that He really does love us and desires to be present in every circumstance of our lives? Could it be that we have a measure of faith that God will do things for others yet pay no attention to our needs? Or could it be because over the years we have had distorted interpretations of a faith that is exercised like a magic wand over our circumstances to bring us the relief and material possessions we seek? One statement that Jesus made concerning faith (Luke 18:8) has always stood out to me.

“Nevertheless, when the Son of man returns will He find faith on the earth?”  That Scripture seems very relevant in this hour of faith-formulas and hyper-faith teachings.   Jesus had foreknowledge of this day and all that would be taught on faith, yet He asks this question concerning the last days.

Perhaps we should re-evaluate our faith and make sure we are walking in a pure faith. Many today think they can confess their way out of unpleasant circumstances, or verbally confess things in to existence.  When reading about the Hebrew children in the burning fiery furnace, no way do I see them saying, ‘we are not in this furnace’ (denying the existence of their circumstance).  Rather we read a pure statement of faith from them in Daniel 3:17. “If it be so, our God, whom we serve, is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thy hand, O King.  But if not, be it known unto thee, O King, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou has set up.”

Genuine faith knows that God is in control even if the circumstances surrounding us dictate differently.  The faith that Christ will be looking for when He returns is not an escapism faith that denies realities, but rather a faith that is persuaded of His love for us and that no matter how unpleasant things seem, Jesus is still in control. Will He find a faith in us that causes us to sleep all night in a lion’s den with no harm coming to us?  Or will we sit up all night in that den fearful of what might happen?  Genuine faith will never keep us from the trial, but will always see us through the trial.  Today as religious persecution is knocking on America’s door, we need to ask the Lord to purify our hearts from all the heretical teaching about faith that has been proclaimed over the last few decades and help us to have a purity of faith in Him, knowing that to live is Christ and to die is gain.”   Blessings, Sue West

Good News from the Middle East

We hear so much bad news coming out of the Middle East that Pastor David Davis from Mount Carmel Assembly in Haifa thought you would appreciate some really good news coming from that part of our world.  God is fast at work there!

In Egypt there has been an outpouring of the Holy Spirit among some of the ancient Copts. They are holding huge meetings in caves and need our prayers for they are being terribly persecuted.  One brother who is being used by God mightily there met Jesus on the battlefield during the Six Day War while fighting against Israel.  Today he is teaching his students God’s Biblical purposes for Israel.

Before the invasion of Iraq in 2003 there were approximately 500 born-again believers.  Today there are over 70,000, former Muslims, although many have left that country.  There is a full-fledged revival taking place among the Kurds in the north of Iraq, where freedom of religion is practiced.

Syria and Jordan have also witnessed significant growth.  The number of Syrian believers has grown from 1,000 to about 4,000 now, and in Jordan the number has grown from about 1,000 to about 5.000.  Also, there are approximately 100,000 secret former Muslims in Saudi Arabia, who are in great danger and need our prayers.  In Lebanon there are approximately 10,000 believers.  Over 1,000 former Muslims there prayed to receive Jesus during the war in 2006.

A former member of the South Lebanese Army spent years fighting against Arafat, the PLO and Hezbullah.  One day he stepped on a land mine and lost his leg.  He became a believer in Jesus and went back in to Lebanon and led over 100 Hezbullah members to the Lord.

In Iran there are a growing number of underground house churches.  Approximately 50 Iranian girls per day are coming to the Lord.  Millions are watching Christian Satellite Television.  Thousands are having dreams and visions as Jesus reveals Himself to them.  Persecution there is horrid. Some are imprisoned, tortured and even martyred.  One pastor was beheaded in front of his wife and children.  In Israel there are more than 7,000 Jewish believers and 3,000 Arab believers.  Congregations in the Land are experiencing steady growth.

Short Term Missions

Please cover Pastors Louis and Karen Saparito in prayer as they leave March 3rd to travel to Israel for the ICEJ Pastor’s Conference.  In fact, please pray for all who are participating in that conference, for they will be traveling in from the nations.  May they all have traveling mercies, enjoy the Land and her precious people and be the witnesses that He needs them to be, so that all of His plans and purposes may be accomplished.

From My Heart to Yours!

As calls are coming in concerning ministry in the surrounding states, and contacts and appointments are being set up, it is obvious that I will be spending a lot of time in travel, a lot of time on the road.  Therefore, we have had to rent a post office box so that our mail will be held each time until I return.  The mail box here is much too small, and the local drivers cannot stop and start mail each time I am called out on the road.  I am sorry for any inconvenience this is to you, but we don’t really have a choice in the matter.  Our new address is:  Fair Havens Missions, P.O. Box 544, Murrysville, PA 15668-0544.   The telephone number remains the same: (724) 325-9131.   Thank you all for your patience!

Concerning the newsletters, apparently they will continue for a while yet.  After a time of prayer and fasting, I believe that the Lord wants me to put a notice in this newsletter as well as the next two, asking all those who wish to continue to receive the newsletters to please call, write or email to let me know.  Please know that this is NOT a plea for money.  I do not do that!  However, because of the volume of newsletters that go out each month we must know that they are being received and read, not ending up in a dead letter office somewhere as has happened on several occasions in the past.  We want to be good stewards of the money given us to work with.  When you need additional copies simply tell us for we are happy to bundle them up and send them to you.  That will not change!  We will accommodate you any way we can, for it is our desire to see Yeshua exalted, His truth go forth and His Kingdom advance in the earth today.
