Holiday Greetings,

I pray that all of you had a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving Day.  We all certainly have so much to be thankful for in this country, yet we so often take so much for granted.  I couldn’t help thinking about all of our brothers and sisters in other parts of the world like Orissa, India, where about 11,000 Believers are hidden in camps too fearful to go back home because to do so means they will be forced to convert to Hinduism, a religion which has become just as violent as Islam. 

Those in church leadership have a price on their heads. The going price to kill a pastor there is $250.00.  People in Orissa are being offered rewards to kill and to destroy houses of worship and offered foreign liquor, chicken, mutton, weapons, petrol and kerosene, whatever they need, to get the job done.

To date 67 Believers have been murdered, several thousand homes razed and hundreds of houses of worship have been destroyed.  Their crops lie wasting in the fields because they are too fearful to move out of the camps to harvest them.

Every day, more than 122,000 people become Christians, most of them being in Africa, Asia and South America.  They are attending congregations where even the pastors have no Bibles. Pastors have been known to go miles through the roughest terrain in order to obtain a Bible to take back to their place of ministry.

Meanwhile, here in America we have many different translations to choose from, some of them collecting dust on our bookshelves, and a Bible/Book store in just about every city.  How blessed by God we have been here in America! 

Christian Resource International has launched a campaign for Believers with abundant resources to share with those without such benefits. The campaign is called, “Bare Your Bookshelf”.  They move donated Bibles from American Christians to those English-speaking Christians in need in more than 180 nations. This ministry receives about 400 requests per month from pastors in need.
 

Many of Us Have Taken God for Granted

I have waited for a full week for Abba to give me what He wanted me to put in this newsletter.  Finally this morning He told me that I was to write what He has already shared with me before and after Election 2008.

First allow me to remind you how long He has been calling us as a people to repent and come unto Him.  I first became aware during the 1960s when the Cultural Revolution began in America.  At that time, I was becoming very aware of His Presence, as a small group of us worked feverishly in this country to try to stop abortion on demand from becoming the law of the land.  At that time I did not have a personal relationship with Him yet, but He was making us very aware that we were doing the right thing and He was with us.  I simply knew enough to know that abortion was murder and moved to work accordingly, however, as I look back now I realize that His hand was upon us and how He opened so many doors for us that we might be free to warn people of the tragic consequences if abortion on demand was legalized.  Today, many years later, we have seen more than 50 million innocent babies violently murdered.  

Always remember that when a nation begins to move off in to rebellion, the Lord will begin to raise up prophetic voices to warn the people of the consequences of their actions if they do not repent and turn back to Him and His will and His ways.

In the early 1970s I became a Christian and shortly thereafter I was given my first vision concerning America.  I saw an enormous sea and floating in that sea were all of our idols, all the things we just can’t live without, bobbing up and down.  Spread over all of that was an enormous American flag.  It was at that time that the dear Lord called me as a Watchman on the Walls of America.  He went on to say, “Myrna, pray for your nation, for she is drowning in a sea of materialism”. 

In 1983 Abba sent me to Israel for the first time, and it was a life changing trip for me.  At that time He made clear to me my responsibility as a Christian to Israel and the Jewish people, and also America’s responsibility to aid, overshadow and protect Israel, His Land and the Jews, His chosen people.    

   By 1990 a prayer movement was well underway in this country.  Great numbers of us traveled from one gateway city to another, as the Lord gave us the timing and the venue. We would gather together for a week at a time, fasting and praying for America, every facet of life in America, until November of 1997. At that time, as we gathered together, we were only permitted to pray for the Church and Church leadership.  By the end of that gathering, the Lord made it clear that He was placing at the feet of the Church blame for all that had gone so  wrong in America because we had been a prayer-less Church for so many years.

January of 1998, just two months later in Israel, several hundred pastors and intercessors from the nations gathered together as we did at the first of every year to pray for the Church, Israel and our respective nations. At that time, the elders of Israel were more concerned about the Church in America than they were about little Israel and all of her problems. Various ministers and intercessors stood and shared the burden that the Lord had placed upon their hearts to pray for the Church in America.  A real eye opener for many!

On the plane headed back to America, the Lord spoke to me and said, “Myrna, America is unclean! Her only hope is Yeshua!  Because of the concerts of prayer and fasting that have risen before me as sweet incense, I AM coming to America, but I AM not coming as they think I AM coming.  I AM coming as refiners fire and fullers soap.  As I do I will need My people to walk in a spirit of repentance, fast as I call them to fast, and pray.  Prevailing prayer will send forth across this nation the mercy and grace needed to cause multitudes to come in to My Kingdom.”  

One week later as the Lord called me to shut myself in with Him for a day, He told me that He had been calling His people for three years to come apart with Him, lay their head on His breast and listen for His heart beat.  He likened it to a small weaned child, putting its head on its mother’s breast, perfectly contented, just listening for her heart beat.  He said to me, “John did and John heard!  My people will not!” Then, once again He told me that He was making me responsible to share with the Body of Messiah the consequences of ignoring Him and refusing to meet with Him to hear His heart. 

Through the years I have tried to be obedient to the call that He placed upon my life, and many others have as well.  We have warned all those within our individual realm of influence to the very best of our ability, even though we were often called prophets of gloom and doom, mocked and despised. 

About four months prior to the November election, during Shabbat, I was sitting in my chair with my Bible opened just entering in to prayer.  Both America and the Church were heavy on my heart!  Suddenly the Presence of God enveloped me and He began to rail against America and the Church.  Travail immediately rose up within me and I did my best to try to write down all that He was saying.  I must tell you that my heart felt as though it was breaking, and His was breaking as He spoke.

He began by saying that America was going to crumble, in fact, she has already begun to crumble.  He went on to say that America has trampled His heart again and again and also His cross and the blessings that it has brought to the land and her people. He said that America has proclaimed liberty from all of His commandments and as a result she has been strangled.  He declared that there will be no liberty in America without His cross.  He said that all semblance of liberty shall shatter in America, and her liberty will be destroyed in a single day!

Without missing a beat He went on to say that America is a proud and arrogant nation, who has chosen her own course, wanting to be her own god, worshipping herself.  He said that America has challenged God and she has lost!  Then He went on to say, “America did not want Me as her task-master!  We will soon see how much she will like the one which her rebellion has invited to take My place.” 

I must tell you that when He spoke those last words chills ran up and down my spine and all through the election, as I cried out for mercy, He would repeatedly bring those words back to me.  After the nominations for president were secured I wrestled much in prayer because I had no trust in either candidate.  I had just told the Lord that in good conscience I could not really vote for either candidate unless I had a direct word from Him.  Just two days after I spoke those words,  Sarah Palin was introduced to America as McCain’s running mate and the anointing of God upon that woman could not be mistaken.  I knew God was up to something! The anointing upon Sarah Palin energized McCain and he began to change.  Within days Abba told me that in His mercy, He was holding out to the Body of Messiah the McCain/Palin team to lead them through all that is coming upon America soon and very soon. He said that nothing was set, for He was going to wait and watch to see what the Body of Messiah would do for He was giving them a clear choice. He was upset because many in the Body of Messiah were making their choice, not in obedience to the Word of God, but because of color and wanting to make history, which He said was nothing more than idolatry. 

The Lord watched and waited on the Body of Messiah until the day before the election when He lifted the burden from those who had been crying out for mercy, and gave us all great peace.  Because of that peace, many were terribly upset at the election results.  Many felt betrayed and even moved in to doubt, unbelief and some in to fear.  Many were terribly upset with God, blaming Him and my telephone began to ring off the wall. 

I began to cry out to God not knowing what I was to tell people.  His answer was, “America has invited another to take My place!”  He sent me to II Samuel 8 and pointed out that Israel didn’t want God to lead them anymore, instead they wanted a king to lead them like all the other nations had.  He told Samuel to “warn them solemnly” and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do.  In spite of the warning, they still demanded a king so God simply gave them what they asked for and it did not fare well for them. 

Next He reminded me of Sarah Palin being introduced to America as McCain’s running mate. The anointing upon her was so obvious.  As that happened, the Lord said that He had called her forth to team with McCain just as Deborah and Barak were teamed in the Book of Judges (Chapter 4).

Deborah had the Word of the Lord within her. She was God’s mouthpiece! Deborah was devoted to God, to her family and to her country. She was a deeply committed woman. She was also confident in God’s Word, God’s will, and God’s way, therefore she was a woman of great courage. She was a strong warrior type, leading her nation, Israel.  Deborah was a woman of intense resolve!

Barak recognized Deborah’s anointing and gifting and deeply respected her. He wanted the Word of the Lord within her with him if he went in to battle.

Election 2008: God in His mercy, called for Sarah Palin to be brought forth.  She would be His mouthpiece!  She would cause His heart and voice to be heard!  She, too, is a strong warrior type, leading Alaska and their National Guard.

Sarah Palin is deeply devoted to God, to her family and to her country!   She, too, is a deeply committed woman, who is also confident in God’s Word, God’s will and God’s ways, therefore she, too, is a woman of great courage!

John McCain was led by God to choose Sarah Palin as his running mate, knowing that she was a true Believer and spoke forth the convictions of her heart both fearlessly and with great boldness. Nevertheless, he chose her to be with him in his campaign for the presidency.

Prior to Sarah Palin coming on the scene, McCain seemed almost lifeless!  The people were clamoring over his opponent, some actually worshipping him.  Therefore, in His mercy, God had Sarah Palin brought forth and His anointing upon her energized her running mate and the entire campaign.

God’s call upon Sarah Palin was to speak forth His words of warning ‘boldly’ and ‘fearlessly’ to the multitudes telling them exactly what the consequences would be if they elected a godless man, pretending to be a Christian, but opposing the Word of God, the will of God and the ways of God, mocking many who stand with God for truth and righteousness.

Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord God will do nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”

Needless to say they terribly abused her and her family, falsely accused her, mocked her and then kept her under wraps, but she still made her mark. She was obedient to the call of God, and she has no blood upon her hands no matter what happens here in America.

God knew the McCain / Palin team would not be chosen for He knows what is in the hearts of the people. However His words of warning were spoken loud and clear for everyone to hear, but they were heard and rejected by the majority, which included many who profess to be Christians, even Ministers of the Gospel.  In short, God cannot be blamed for what happens here in America because in His mercy, He tried to warn the people, but to no avail.  They made a choice!

Also, He said that when they mistreated Sarah Palin He took it personally for she was His Ambassador, His mouthpiece! She had His heart!  Through Sarah Palin the Shofar was sounded loud and clear for everyone to hear.

God watched and waited to see what the Body of Messiah would do and then He gave those who had persevered in fasting and prayer great peace.  At the same time He stepped back and allowed the majority to have their way, just as He did Israel many years ago.  They had all been given a clear choice.  It will not fare well for them, nor will it fare well for America!

The rise of Barak Obama is a sign to all of us who are paying attention.  It is a perfect picture of the way the anti-Christ will arise. It will be just as easy for the anti-Christ to come upon the scene and just as easy for him to deceive the masses, including many Christians, even Ministers of the Gospel.

The Lord said that there is a “strong spirit of delusion” over most of the Church, over the American Government and over many of the American people.

As a result of this election it is obvious that the Church, for the most part, is undiscerning, gullible and carnal.  I can recall some time ago when the Lord said that the most gullible people on the face of the earth are Christians.  If someone tells them they are a Christian they believe it, no questions asked.  He said, “Just because someone says they are Mine does not make them Mine.  If they are Mine they will obey Me and My Word.”  He went on to say that this election was separating sheep from goats. 

 “To those who have remained faithful and true to Me and My Word, know that your efforts have not been in vain.  All of your fasting and prayer has been used to deliver many from the ‘spirit of death’, and they, too shall live.  Gird yourselves up now and prepare yourselves, for I will need you as we bring in a great harvest!”
