New Year Greetings,
I pray that you all have had a wonderfully blessed holiday season. I spent most of the month of December traveling in ministry, first in the South and then in the North. Nevertheless, it was wonderful to see and fellowship with so many of you along the way, and please know that I am grateful for all of the warm hospitality that was shown me. It is so great to be part of the family of God for no matter where He chooses to send us we find ourselves among loving brothers and sisters in the Lord.
I arrived back in Brunswick last night, after driving twelve hours in atrocious traffic, often bumper to bumper, thanking God for traveling mercies and a very fruitful trip. I thank all of you who pray for me as I travel. Please know that I feel those prayers, and I am more than grateful.
After a good night of sleep I checked emails and then began to wade through the mail. As I did, I was moved to tears so many times as I read the sweet cards, letters of encouragement and emails that you sent to me expressing your gratitude for the ministry, prayer alerts and monthly newsletters.
Thank you so much for sharing your heart with me. I share this with you all because I had been asking Abba if I am to continue writing the newsletters for they are both time consuming and expensive to do. He has been keeping me more and more on the road now, and I try hard to be a good steward of my time as well as all that He gives us to work with.
Until He tells me otherwise, I will continue to write the newsletters, and ask you all to write sharing anything Abba lays upon your hearts that might strengthen, encourage and help to prepare the Body of Messiah for the days ahead. Also, I try hard to respond to all of the mail that I receive, but because of the volume coming in when I’m traveling it is sometimes difficult to do. Nevertheless, I do read it all and thank you for writing and sharing for I love hearing your heart.
The Festival of Dedication
We are so blessed to have been set down at such a time as this as the Lord is working to restore ‘all’ things as they were in the beginning. As so many of His own are now re-connected to their Jewish roots, keeping Shabbat and celebrating the Festivals of the Lord, each gathering has such a precious freedom in spirit and an awesome Presence of the Lord. I marvel at what He has done and the change He has wrought by His Spirit.
As I traveled during Chanukkah this year I was blessed to be able to celebrate with some of you in a number of gatherings where we all re-dedicated ourselves to His plans and purposes for our lives and ministries. If ever there was a time for us to do that, it certainly is now!
In John 10 we see Yeshua in the Temple in Jerusalem at the time of Chanukkah, the Festival of Dedication. The English translation of the word “Chanukkah” is dedication.
Speaking of Chanukkah, Kin Clark writes: “This Festival is a commemoration of a deliverance of God’s people about 160 years before Yeshua. If it were not for Matthias and Judah Maccabbee leading a revolt against Antiocus IV and his Syrian-Greek army, one of the largest and most advanced on the globe during that period, history might have turned out quite different. That small band of Pharisees, just a few hundred of them, trained, prayed and stood for their faith and God gave them the victory. When it was all over they had to cleanse away the defilement of the Temple and its vessels, restore everything that had been lost, and rededicate everything anew.”
“Oh how we need people from that lineage today to stand up for Israel and push back the gates of Hell that is coming against her. Lord, raise up a deliverer in our day to lead Israel the way You would have her to go.”
Kin went on to say, “The fight became about their faith, no compromise! They were stripped of the ability to worship and live a godly lifestyle. Their Temple, their Scriptures, the Shabbat and Festivals, their way of life, were all taken away, to the point that they could not relate without it … then the tables turned. It was all about priority, a need for survival. If it had not been for the stand the Maccabbees made back then, we might not have the Scriptures today.”
Kin summed it all up by saying, “It has just as much of an application to Believers today. We are living in times when our religious freedoms are being threatened, tried, tested, and sifted away. The assault comes in many different forms but it is the same spirit. Islam, secular humanism, new age etc are all gaining ground but these are only outward signs. What about those things right around us that tend to rob us of our time and resources, our time with the Lord, if you will?
“This is the season to examine ourselves and set our priorities straight. We need to make a reassessment of our lives and our households and take back what belongs to God. As we do this we must begin with the very first commandment, for He must be first in all things.”
Let Us Settle Our Differences!
Speaking of reassessment, Sharon Webb wrote to say, “Two nights out of the last three I have had the same dream. The first night I dreamed that I was pleading with people to settle their differences between one another and make things right because God is coming to swiftly execute judgment. However, no one would listen! Then, last night, in a dream, I was remembering the dream I had the night before. I was trying to draw people together saying over and over again, “URGENT! URGENT! URGENT!” I was telling them again that God had given me a message to deliver to them and that they must heed the warning! He told me to warn them that any unresolved differences between them must be repented of and resolved IMMEDIATELY. Judgment is coming very soon!”
Destructive Times!
“I will bring My people through the horrific destructive times that are coming, but they ‘must’ first learn to hear Me! Hear ‘My’ voice! Pray that they will open their spiritual eyes and ears and be prepared that they not begin to move in to fear.” “I AM calling My people to, “Be Still and Know that I AM God!” “Horrific destruction will soon fall upon America and My Church is not ready!” “Continue to warn them for Me!”
Pray
for Wisdom, Discernment, Courage and Might!
We must be very careful about the teachers and teachings that we accept. New age has become very brazen and will become even more so. The books of New Age authors are flying off the book shelves, even in Christian Book Stores. Seek the Lord’s approval before selecting reading material or listening to any teacher.
New Agers are re-inventing Christianity by preaching a New Gospel which says, “We are all one!” “Ours is not the only way!” “Ours is not the better way!” “Ours is merely another way!” Yeshua said, “I AM the way” but they say He is not the only way.
They have a five step “Peace Plan” to save the world through the establishment of a “New Spirituality” which demands that we abandon our belief in Yeshua as our exclusive Lord and Savior. New Age leader, Neal Walsh openly states, “The era of a single Savior is over!”
Oprah openly states through the “Course in Miracles” which she is teaching, “All humanity is divine! We are all God! We are all Christ, and we are all one!” Yeshua said, “Take heed that no one deceive you!”
The New age phrase that they use, “as above, so below” describes the “Emerging Spirituality”. “God is in everyone and everything.” “The universe is the same as God, and God is the same as man.” Another of their mantras is, “Oneness of all that is”. This comes from occult, mystical and magical sources, and because this teaching has not been properly exposed, it is rapidly moving through the Church taking thousands deep in to New Age without their even being aware.
New Age leader and author, Bernie Siegel is teaching believers how to meditate to find and meet an “inner spirit guide” through the pages of his book, “Love, Medicine and Miracles”. He encourages pastors to visualize and dream bigger and better churches.
After 9/11, the “Peace Plan” bringing all world religions together as one took root. We were told to, “Enlarge your beliefs and move on with your lives in a new way, a way that works.” We were told that the way that works is not Christianity, but a “One World Religion”.
We were also told, “New Spirituality will necessitate willingness to compromise.” In order to achieve world peace, we will have to give up some of our most sacred held beliefs. “A self-centered exclusive” belief in a personal Savior is not conducive to world peace.” “Yeshua can be our friend, but not our Savior!”
Note: God is not in everyone and everything! The Spirit of God is given only to those who truly accept Yeshua as their Lord and Savior. (John 14:15-17) (Acts 5:32) We are one in Yeshua! (Galatians 3:26-28). Man is not God! (Ezekiel 28:2). Yahweh said, “I AM God and there is no other!” (Isaiah 45:18-23).
New Age
“Course in Miracles” Teaches
“Do not make the pathetic error of clinging to the old rugged cross. The journey to the cross should be the last ‘useless’ journey.”
“The recognition of God is the recognition of yourself. When God created you, He made you part of Him.”
“There is no sin! It has no consequences! The atonement is the final lesson that man need learn, for it teaches him that, never having sinned, he has no need of salvation.”
“Christ takes many forms, with different names until their ‘oneness’ can be recognized.” “ All paths lead to the same place!” “We can all drink from the same cup!” “No need for a personal Savior because we are already ‘one’ with God.”
Note: The New Age ‘false’ Yeshua teaches that ‘oneness’ pervades everything because God is in everything. Robert Schuller has taught these things for many years now, but from him these teachings were never well received. He has just recently stopped his own son from preaching in the Crystal Cathedral because he refused to preach and teach the “New Spirituality”, “re-defined Christianity” or a “re-defined Yeshua”. His son chose to cling to the true Gospel and departed.
Note: Rick Warren has somehow made the teachings of Robert Schuller more palatable to believers. He has used his marketing skills to do so, and he also has friends in high places, which has helped tremendously. He openly states that he is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a close friend to one of the media giants. On the air, he preaches Yeshua, but off the air he teaches the “New Spirituality”. Rick Warren’s goal is to become America’s preacher when Billy Graham goes home to glory and because of friends in high places that goal is well within reach.
We are told that the ‘false’ Christ is already in the world just waiting to be called forth. He has a “purpose” and is “purpose driven”. He has a “Peace Plan” that says his coming will bring peace. It is a plan to help the lost, the sick, and the poor, a prototype for anti-Christ, a viable candidate for being the anti-Christ.
The ‘false’ Christ is Maitreya, which means, “the Christ”. He does not describe himself as the world’s savior, but as the world’s teacher, the one all world religions are waiting for, although they don’t know it. His purpose as world teacher is to convince the people that they are divine. God is in everyone so everyone is divine. This is the “New World Religion”.
That isn’t all! They teach that when Maitreya comes he will have twelve Masters of Wisdom with him to help him do his work in the world. Yeshua will be one of them but he will not be “the Christ”, but instead he will be one of the twelve Masters of Wisdom and his job will be to reform the Church, leading her in to the New Reformation, which is all about Self-Esteem. This is their re-defined Yeshua.
Note: They teach that Bible believing Christians will be those who will be defined as “self-centered” and “separate”. Human must become divine! That is their law! Everyone must pledge allegiance to their “doctrine of oneness”. They go on to say that we will live or die depending on whether or not we become a part of the One World Religion. It is as simple and straightforward as that!
Note: We will be held accountable! We must preach the truth and stand for righteousness. More than 400,000 pastors have been influenced by this teaching. Keep in mind that they went running in to it because they wanted to be successful, have a mega church and make a name for themselves as Rick Warren did. There was no thought of God in what they were chasing after and that will bring serious consequences every time. Thousands of believers have already fallen away because of such erroneous extreme teachings, and because they depend on others to feed them instead of reading the Word of God and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead them in to all truth. The Lord said, “They think they know Me when they do not!”
The Lord said that the Church has not been at all concerned with truth. They are only concerned about prosperity and luxurious living, as well as marketing and business. He said through the prophet Haggai, “Why do you live in luxurious homes when My House lies in ruins?” He went on to say that they manipulate people to give to them by offering token gifts, which is an abomination in His sight.
There is so much of the world, and so much deception, within the Church today that I cannot cover it all. I share just enough for you to be aware and be vigilant! Abba is calling His true believers to come apart and spend quality time with Him. Worship and fellowship with true believers because He has sent a strong spirit of delusion over most of the apostate Church.
Short Term / Long Term Missions
In closing I would like to ask you to keep Diana Kinslow in prayer. The Lord has called her to Russia for a three year stint, and also pray for Jan Wilker who is ministering in the Ukraine at this time. Pray for their protection and that His purposes in sending them will be accomplished.
I ask for your prayers for myself as well, for during the next two months I will be involved in a time of transition. I am asking Abba for clarity of vision at this time.
